I drove 20 miles to use my coupons for Ornament Debut only to find a notice on the door that they closed early for an all employee meeting. Really, on a special occasion weekend? The coupons are only good thru today. Are you going to honor them because the store closed early?

Deb refused to exchange an unopened ornament my daughter received as a gift because we had no receipt. Again, because it was a gift. I wasn’t asking for a cash refund, I was asking for an exchange for a different ornament.

Stopped by yesterday and was very disappointed to learn that Francesca was suddenly no longer working there. She was the reason why I came in the store, she always made me feel so welcome. I’ll be reconsidering where my shopping is done in the future.

I usually shop at this Hallmark location once every year. My family bought me a Hallmark ornament every year of my life and I am continuing the tradition for my own daughter. This year's trip to this location was awful. I felt unwelcome and stressed out within 1 minute of walking in the door. I made the very obvious mistake of trying to open the ornament box. I was only trying to make sure it was in good condition. One of the women working there rushed over faster than a lightning bolt. She was visibly upset that I had attempted such a horrible feat. She was speaking to me in a near yelling tone as if we had already had an issue. She demanded I give her the box, which is fine. She told me she would open it up, and I let her, only to find that the ornament had a messed up bow, so I asked her to open another one, which very obviously irritated her! I realize that there are bad people that steal and that measures must be taken to reduce theft. I also understand that a theif can look like anyone so in essence everyone is a suspect. However, there was no sign posted and she could have just been nice about it! She was aggressive and accusatory. She made me feel tense, unwelcome. I would have loved to have shopped around and bought a bunch of cute stuff but after this interaction I no longer felt comfortable being there. For the record the check out girl was much nicer. She said she had only worked there 5 days. Apparently she wasn't jaded yet. Shame on this store for putting a big old damper on my spirit.

Great store! My favorite hallmark in Central WI. Priced fairly and good variety plus friendly, knowledgeable staff. Fun selection of squishmallows, loungefly, and other collectibles. Hoping they might look into getting jellycats!
