Dr. Larson was fantastic.
Patient, knowledgeable, professional.
My eyes no longer focus very well, so now I have two different contacts. Left for near and right for far. This was Dr. Larson suggestion as I have stereo blindness anyway and works perfectly.
Problem solved.

The lady that was sitting down at her desk that checked me in on 11/28/25 at the Jackson st location in Oshkosh was rude and acted like helping me was the hardest thing that she had to do. She was disrespectful and the worst person I’ve had to deal with. All she had to do was sit there and do her job and if she was having a hard day, she still should have treated me kindly and not had an attitude. The girl that did my eye exam and helped with the telehealth doctor was amazing and nice. I recommend making sure whoever the woman was that checked me in gets talked to about how to treat the patient because it’s people like that that drive away patients.

The worst optical office I’ve ever been to. If you want to waste your time/ money and be disrespected this is the place to go. Went in for an eye exam, already been to Shopkos before just not this location. Messed up my prescription the first time, making both eyes the same even though they arent and I didn’t ask for it. Then when I couldn’t see out of my contacts and asked them to do a revision, they told me that I could only come back in one day a week. Since that’s the day that that one doctor was in. Even though they have staff there all week long. The lady hung up on me twice when I asked for additional solutions. I had to show up in person to get them to reschedule my appointment. When I went back in for my adjusted appointment, the doctor was rude. At the end of the appointment, she basically just told me I could leave. Didn’t walk me out. Didn’t tell me have a nice day, didn’t even give me my prescription. They made me come back again and wanted me to try my contacts in person before they would sign my script.

Dr. Hoppe is fantastic! She was very knowledgeable and took her time answering any questions I had about my exam. Will definitely be going back to her!
Also she helped me pick out the perfect pair of glasses! I love them!

I saw Dr.hafeman he was really nice and helpful. He answered all my questions directly, which I really appreciated. Diana was also super kind and even made sure I understood my prescription before I left which was awesome. And although there were quite a few people/patients they all got helped or seen pretty quickly.

I highly recommend this store!! The manger Douglas was very patient and helpful. It was by far the best experience I’ve ever had looking for glasses and I’m truly happy with the pair I purchased.

Really great experience! The optician I had was Cassie and she was super sweet and patient. She went over all the pricing options with me and was patient with all my questions and explained everything thoroughly.
The manager in training Douglas is already excellent, easy to see why they selected him to be a manager. He was professional and was able to help the customers while simultaneously helping the opticians when they had questions.
They have good quality frames and I found the perfect frames right away and Douglas even went the extra mile for me, thank you.
Very cool how the digital exam is conducted, its pretty much like an in-person exam except Cassie operated the machinery and the doctor was able to do everything remotely. It was quite efficient. Definitely recommend.

I've always shopped at Shopko for my glasses and have never been disappointed. This time, due to a change in insurance companies, I had my first eye exam here as well. My experience was wonderful!
Shopko is indeed the best choice in eye care and eye wear for me.

The employee and the eye doctor were friendly and helpful. The online appointment form is useless. I did get my appointment time but I didn’t sign up for a “digital” appointment and was not aware until the appointment time. On the online form I selected the doctor. I didn’t get that doctor - I got a digital one. Also, I selected in the online appointment maker that I didn’t have vision insurance. I later get a call from shopping asking about what my vision insurance is.

Made an appointment for my husband for 9:00. I was just wondering why Dr Hoppe would casually come strolling in at 9:05. Maybe, Dr Hoppe should not make early morning appointments if she is unable to respect her patients time. A sorry for being a A hole and not being considerate of your time would have been nice to say to him. If your time is important I would call ahead and make sure the Dr is actually there at their facility for your eye appointment, not just on their way.

My eye doctor that I saw didn’t answer any of my questions or told me what I should be doing since I’ve never worn glasses in my whole life so if I could give this place a zero I would but I can’t just a 1star

All of the opticians are super friendly and helpful. They were able to fix my frames after my toddler got ahold of them. Love this location for all of my vision needs!
