Had a trailer hitch installation scheduled for 2/3/24. Was called earlier in the week asking if I could reschedule, which I was unable due to work obligations. Received a call on Saturday claiming I had no choice to reschedule due to lack of proper tools to perform the installation. This is now the third time I've been cancelled on last minute for a hitch installation at three different UHaul locations, two in Indianapolis and now this one. I was tired of this trend so I went and picked up the receiver, bought a few simple tools, and performed the installation myself in my hotel parking lot in about an hour and a half. Made me wonder how they couldn't possibly have the proper tools at the facility when I easily acquired everything I needed in a very short time.

Went to fill a small propane tank and was told they wouldn't because there was lightning less than 10 miles away. I checked, closest "storm" was 25 miles away. When I asked why that sign wasn't posted anywhere the associate for U haul was very rude and refused to discuss the policy. He walked away and said he was finished with the conversation. Extremely bad customer interaction

Strongly recommend signed documentation on receiving and final delivery of the rental to protect yourself. They display a lack of oversight, accountability, and necessary controls to track vehicle usage. Patronizing man behind the counter gave us the wrong truck. Received an extreme and erroneous bill stating we delivered the truck to an entirely different state. They immediately sent the bill to collections. U-Haul local and corporate was incredibly unresponsive when we explained their incompetence. We were forced to contact the Better Business Bureau to gain any traction towards rectifying the situation. Remember - documentation helps protect you from the greedy and lazy!

Aside from using the app to return my rented trailer after hours, all else went well. I didn't think the return was completed because the final picture of where I parked the trailer would not submit. I spent more than 30 minutes in the rain trying to get it to go before I gave up and went home soaking wet. I called Uhaul the next morning and they said everything was received and I was good to go. Just be warned that the app still has some bugs in it, so make sure you contact Uhaul to confirm your after hours return was successful or you could be charged an extra $20 for after after hours return of the rented equipment.

Not happy with how I was charged almost 2x for my rental with no call of why. Also was lied to about everything being taken care of the day of drop off or after and it never happened

I am very angry at the type of customer service this place has. The “General Manager” Doc stole money from our card and tried to tell us there was no extra transaction. He screamed at us over the phone to go to the bank after it wasn’t even charged to our bank. Instead of calling someone and trying to figure this problem out he continued to belittle, scream and Hangup the phone. We have used uhaul for over 2 years with our space there and after we chose to leave uhaul they have treated us nothing but trash. This man needs to go back to training on customer service and how to handle problems with customers! Other wise this man will drag your business down!

We bought a hitch here and my husband was going to install the hitch himself. We decided on another route and they would not accept the hitch back for a return. So we decided to just use it and have uhaul do the install. My husband called and spoke twice to customer service and they assured us they could do the install. After bring our vehicle to our appointment, the mechanic informed us he could not do the install on our vehicle. We had both taken off work for 1-2 hours for nothing. Save your time and money and find someone who knows what your talking about and doesn't just agree with you to get you to come in.

I am always able to rent a unit when I leave to go home for the summer from being in college. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable, but sometimes there is a staffing issue. I have never had an issue with this location and use it regularly.
