On 12/28/2024 I had to go to the US bank branch office and get a new check card because mine was shut down due to fraud. I am glad I went when I did because I met the most kind and helpful person in almost a year. Thank you so very much Greg J. Larson. U are awesome ?

This review will do absolutely nothing as this company is just one huge conglomerate that probably takes very little to no HR action or accountability when it comes to these types of things. However I would like to share my experience at 2 U.S banks! 2 for 2!! Went into the U.S bank to set up a business account today for our new LLC. Walked in and a Lady had asked if she could help with anything. Typical “how can I help”…we let her know that we were looking to set up a business account. She then said “I’m actually the one who does that but I’m leaving in 15 minutes and the other person is booked up for the day.” We asked to set an appointment at a different location and sure enough we had set it for 2:30 at the southwest branch! We ate some lunch killed some time and were 10 minutes early. The place was completely unoccupied by customers and we were told that she had got tied up and asked us to reschedule again. We politely declined and will decide to use someone else for our needs and wants. Not sure if this is the type of business experience is U.S bank wants to represent. However I will make sure others know of the way business in conducted. Thanks for wasting our time!

I've been banking with USBank for over a decade. I lived in Ripon, WI and the location there gave me such good customer service I never thought about switching to another bank. I move to Oshkosh. Now, I dread dealing with this bank and I have switched my main financial institution to a credit union (I have a really awesome grandfathered checking account so i didn't close the account). When I've gone into the lobby to handle my transactions, not once have I been greeted with a smile or a friendly hello. I'll say "Thanks for your help!" and I get silently stared at like I'm at the DMV. Does management verbally abuse the life out of these people? How can so many workers be that miserable?

They are never open. Seriously closed on July 5th ? The fifth is not a federal holiday. They never have more than one drive through lane open and they are extreme slow if you at lucky enough to get talk to a teller. Plus they charge a 5 dollar maintenance fee for a savings a account every months what a joke

Purchased vehicle and dealer recommended US Bank in 2016. Several times checks were "lost" and processing time was terrible. I paid off loan on June 14 and payoff center cannot confirm lien release has been processed or mailed. Their answer? Can take 10 business days. Really? Is this service? I will never deal with them again.

Got an auto loan through this company as recommended by the dealership, instead of going through our normal bank. Never got a bill, so I called to check on it. They stated I now have a late fee on my account. Again, never received a bill. I have never been late to pay a bill in my life. Definitely not happy with the decision to go with this company.

I went in there the other week and had some simple questions about my account and was told by the teller that the account specialist was busy, so I said "It's only a few questions, I'll wait". Five minutes later, still no response, so I went to the teller again and he said "she's still in the middle of a project, if you want I can have her call you back". Now this whole time I could see her (nose in her computer) not more than 15 feet from the teller. They were communicating by phone as if she couldn't be bothered to take a few moments to even acknowledge me.

I went in there this past Monday and opened a checking account at this branch and was told that my money would be available sometime on Tuesday. I thought "great, I'll go ahead and open up the account". Tuesday comes along and I tried to make a purchase and my funds weren't available so I figured "No problem, they haven't cleared it yet, I'll just call them up and see what's going on.

I leased a Jeep from Neuwirth Motors. They chose to finance the lease through US Bank. In January I decided to buyout the lease and called US Bank to get a payoff. February 1st I paid the amount they quoted. They sent an odometer statement for me to sign but it was for the wrong vehicle. I contacted them and sent a corrected one via email. About a week later they sent a package for me to take to the DMV. It was rejected because they didn't notarize their names. I sent it back the same day next day delivery. It's been a week and they still haven't returned the title and don't return calls. It's been over a month since they cashed my check and I still don't have a title to transfer due to their ineptitude. Title has finally been transferred. Increased the stars but couldn't give 5 because of the frustration getting the correct paperwork in a timely manner. Also would suggest more training for employees.
