We spent a couple of days here and really enjoyed it. Very nice and clean place.The people was nice and friendly. The restaurant (Osseo Family Restaurant ) was awesome. Food fresh, large amounts. Very lively place. My fav was the chicken and dumplings soup. Thanks to Amber and Debbie and the rest of the crew for making our time enjoyable. We were able to exercise(walk) even though it sprinkled rain but nice weather. Parking was a plus. I hope to come back

Avoid working here. Upper management have committed wage theft on two or more employees since the place rebranded. Management tried to silence the one employee when they spoke up about said wage theft. New general manager has little empathy for people and is difficult to work under.

Used to not be great. Will say the new management has really changed things around for the better. Showers are nice and clean. Restrooms are clean, lots of free parking. Restaurant open till 9pm. Big food/liquor selection. Drivers lounge was nice and clean. Not many places left like that. Good on the new management for keeping things up to par for us drivers??

Free Parking, Always been Free parking. Great food, prices & staff. Lots of truck parking. Recently renovated.

Enough parking there and it looks like they're going to do a lot of reserved spots. Because of the TA. And the new owner had nothing set up as far as the cigarettes or the copy and fax machine and their employees were kind of lost that none of this was done yet. This is what you get for a mega truck stop taking over a little place

The girl working tonight is pleasant enough but as far as truck stop goes....... 80% resevered, and literally the whole store is under construction, 2 showers , no clean towels, and still not got a shower, just the usual TA crap show.

I work here. And I will probably get fired for this. It is what it is. This stop has been in the hands of a wonderful local manager for decades. But as of today TA fully took over. I went in to get new shirts for work. The way the TA staff were treating the old truck stop workers is/was highly unacceptable. They were treating them like they were dumb slaves. So far, it's has been nothing but condescension, mocking and disrespectful attitudes from the TA staff toward all the old staff from the original group. For now it seems the ship is sinking. I will either quit or get fired at this point. At a loss for how bad my co-workers have been treated and losing so many others to different jobs.

Sadly, this is now a fully corporate-owned TA. Golden Oil no longer owns it, according to employees I talked to. I just hope the wonderful staff are kept and the awesome restaurant stays open. So sad to see independent stops get bought out by the mega-chains.

-Have a nice moonshine collection, (along with other alcohol) yet when we asked to purchase a jar, the worker said, " we don't have our liquor license & I'm not even sure the laws here about it

I went in early in the morning to get a cup of coffee. I spotted the Door County coffee station. I looked around and found a medium cup. I filled it and tasted it. It was good but slightly warm. Not hot. I went to pay and was told by the gal that she knew I got the Door County coffee but used a Caribou cup and would need to charge me for the Caribou coffee. The cups that I was suppose to use were on the side of the counter not in sight of the coffee but under under the cappuccino coffee. There was no explaining to her nor any common sense in this situation. I paid for the more expensive coffee. I needed to put it in the microwave to heat it up. This was so ridiculous to loose a customer for a cup of coffee. I will never return.
