The Minnow Bucket is an awesome little local tackle and bait shop in Oxford. It is not very big but has a great selection of nearly everything you need, including fishing gear, minnows, spikes, and night crawlers. The service is amazing, very friendly, and helpful. The owners have extensive knowledge of local lakes and fishing conditions. It is a great place to gear-up, get bait, and get the skinny on local conditions. If in that area, it is definitely the place to stop.
I've only been here twice but it's a great little shop. The owner is knowledgeable and offers great products at a great price. I wish I lived closer. Also, it's kind of like a life dream. I'd love to run a small bait shop out of my shed!

My dad and I were on our way to mason lake to try our luck and stopped here to get bait. Got sucker minnows, night crawlers, and some D batteries for our minnow bucket to run the aerator.
