UPDATE: 1-8-23Management did reach out and provided some perks to correct the experience. I was able to enjoy the pool at the times open and I always base my most recent review on how things are handled, rather than how a negative feeling impacted me, as everything is situational.Thank you for the adjustment and I will strongly consider staying here again in the future.-----------------------I was having a peaceful stay and after working 2 full long days, I wanted to relax at the pool until it closed as posted on the door at 9:30 pm, photo attached. I had just stepped in the pool to ease myself in at 9 pm, when the front desk person walks in, stares at me then approached me sticking his thumb motioning to leave. I did not respond immediately and he followed up with a verbal "it's closed." - I responded with, "the sign on the door says 9:30"He responded quickly with, "nope, it's 9" and proceeds to shut off the hot tub and started turning off the lights. I cooperated and returned to my room.Hospitality was not present with this interaction and I know he's not had an easy night when I checked in and maybe suggests a similar night when he acts like a bouncer to kick me out of the pool area.If in fact it is supposed to close at 9, they should put a sign up. Much like other signs that are taped to the door the I've seen.Customers should not be treated this way and more training is required for this person to have better hospitality communication. Be better.Rooms: My room is quite nice and quiet. Good size TV, love the bathroom setup with opposing showers and heat lamp. Bed is comfortable and pillows are also comfortable. The office desk is nice and large with enough space to set up 2 laptops and have more space to eat. Fridge has great space to fit 2-liter bottles and if you have a skinny container, frozen stuff can fit.Noteworthy details: In place of relaxing at the pool, I now have to just sit in the shower for the period of time I was planning to relax in the pool.

Was always my favorite place to stay because of location between friends and family. This time, we only stayed 1 night, but it had a different vibe than previously.

This is a very nice Holiday Inn. I appreciated the Arts and Crafts architecture.

Terrible experience. No running hot water day one of my stay. Day two, there was no running water. Eventually found out there was a carbon monoxide leak and employees were made to work in dangerous conditions prior to our stay. No one had informed us of this. I called customer service during my stay who stated the general manager would be contacting me by phone. This never occurred. I had to ask for the general manger at the front desk who came out and had the worst attitude and didn’t understand why he needed to contact me about the issues. He leaned into my face getting loud and my fiancé stepped in front of him to let him know, yelling in my face will not happen. He then changed his attitude and stated we would get a first night free and second night 25% off. This did not occur as we were charged for both nights plus another 100.00$. I feel terrible for the people who work under Glenn B. I will advocate for them. Always be kind to people. I may look young but well connected and will follow up on everything to ensure customers are treated with respect , as well as the employees who work there.

The bathroom was very clean. The room was just ok. The security latch on the door was brokenThe TV remote functioned intermittently and only when help direct in front of the TV. The online guide did not match the available channels. Also there was no paper guide in the room.Beds were noisy and ultra firm. This hotel won’t be my first choice on my next trip. It wouldn’t be in the top 10 of those nearby.

They have a very comfortable room. We will be very happy to stay here again. It was easy enough to get to off the interstate. It did not have a microwave, though. The onsite breakfast was pretty ordinary, better than some, but twelve $$?

We booked a "1 King 1 Bedroom Suite" and from the description we expected typical amenities such as mini fridge and microwave... and presumably a 'living' area like a normal suite, probably with a couch or a couple of larger chairs. Imagine our surprise when we opened the door to a 16' conference table! And the bedroom had a huge executive desk. The only place to relax or watch TV was the bed. We called the front desk and asked whether they had any 'normal' suites because this was rather odd. I was told that this is the "Boardroom Suite." Yes, they had other suites with a bedroom and living room, but none were available. Really? We arrived at 3:58pm and official check-in starts at 4:00. There were hardly any cars in the parking lot. We stayed for 2 nights and the place seemed empty. Literally, we did not see one other guest. Seems unlikely that the 'normal' suites were booked. This room did not have a microwave as listed, so we had to use a microwave at the front desk to reheat our supper. Overall this place is fine, but it was really misleading to put us in that room and I do not believe the desk clerk cared about checking for a different room.

Decent room, decent location. Everything was clean, Close to freeway which is helpful. Staff was really friendly which is always a plus.Small bar area next to the lobby which is also nice. No free breakfast (that's HI Express). Good example of the IHG brand.

It was so wonderful that I didn't even want sleep. I had an injured back and all I could do was sit in the whirlpool in my room. Zero regrets! Home away from home. It was the best stay I've had anywhere in a very long time. I am now spoiled and don't want to go anywhere else, not even my own home, even tho I love my home. Beautiful clean room with a Jacuzzi, excellent service, excellent polite people in the entire place, great all you can eat buffet breakfest for a tiny fee, safe area, hotel is near everything but tucked away to where you hear nothing at night, great pool, great hot tub, clean, everything works, and staff that really go above and beyond if you need anything, I have absolutely NO complaints. I would live there if I could. I will be visiting again and won't bother to look anywhere else . Just excellent 5 stars all around.

I'm in Pewaukee for business several times a year and this was my first time staying at this hotel. It was super clean, full of amenities, and very quaint. The staff was amazing! From Becky at the front desk when I first checked in to Lucy who was down at the Breakfast Buffet serving up the fresh made-to-order omelettes! The pool/hot tub area was super welcoming too! I look forward to my next stay here!

Frown upon the no breakfast option. They don't even offer simple snack bars to compliment their coffee. They offer zero milk options. This feels like a subpar provision for their pricing. Friendly service. The rooms were nice.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic and I loved every bit of it, the staff were friendly and the location is great, especially right off the highway. This is a pretty luxurious hotel for it not being overpriced. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the rooms do not have a microwave, which in my opinion is a pretty important appliance to have especially in a hotel and longer stays. But besides no microwave, this hotel was great and will definitely be returning if we ever need a hotel.
