The folks at this pharmacy were very helpful and friendly. I had a prescription which was not covered by insurance so I did some searching online for various ways to get it cheaper and found the GoodRx app. There you can check on pricing through various providers. Meijer’s was one of the lowest! Saved me $100’s and Meijer’s was happy to take the GoodRx pricing and lock it into their system for future refills on the script. So easy and the folks that work there were so helpful! I definitely recommend trying Meijer Pharmacy and GoodRx saving card / app!

Due to supply issues, I was unable to get the medication from the pharmacy that I had used for several years. I called the Meijer Pharmacy at 10:30 AM to transfer my prescription to their pharmacy. The woman that I talked to said that it could take 2-3 days to transfer and fill my prescription. At 12:30 PM I received an automated call that said my prescription was ready for pick-up. The Pharmacist and technician were courteous and professional. I am very pleased with the service that I received at the Meijer Pharmacy.

Refused to fill a prescription twice, each time telling me they needed to “call the doctor” yet never actually doing so. The second time they went so far as to tell me that the prescription is expired and has no refills when I know that’s false. Switching pharmacies and would not recommend going here.

If there was a "0 star" option, that's what I'd give them. They kept calling my number saying a refill was ready when we asked the doctor to cancel it. Finally decided to get the new prescription and use it as the next refill. When I got there they said it was canceled by the doctor. I asked, why then do they keep calling telling me to come get it? Pharmacist says they have no control over the auto calls - really? A week later my daughter gets a text that her other refill is ready. Tried to call Meijer to see if it was indeed ready and was still on the phone, on hold, 15 min later when we pulled up to their window. They claim they are just very busy - really? More likely that they completely forgot they had me on hold. And, they said there were no refills available, then that the refill expired - we told them the refill doesn't expired till 2023 but attendant said there was nothing she could do. Then I asked about getting a text today for a prescription ready for pick up for my son (who, I checked is not expecting any prescriptions at all) - they had nothing. Who's in charge of this flying umbrella?? Transferring any and all prescriptions to a different pharmacy - you know, one that actually knows what they are doing and that can actually help when something goes wrong.

The Meijer pharmacy in Sussex is by far the worst place around. I call a day ahead to make sure my prescription will be ready. I am told it will be ready at 9:00. I get here at 9 and I am told it will be ready at 10. I have been sitting here for an 45 minutes and all these people are just standing around talking or on the phone. Nobody works. Kathy is a snooty employee and should be fired.

Manager Dana is okay with people testing positive and working / being around other positive people that have symptoms. And the only thing he has to say when people call in are “really on the busiest Sunday of the year” and then wants to argue with me about how disgusting his comment was. Unprofessional and don’t recommend.

Needed medication for a brain tumor that was supposed to be filled the day before called today and was told I would have to wait 4 hours because they're busy this is a medication I'm not supposed to stop taking now I'm being told to wait. 4+ hours and I'm still waiting. It's this right here that should say enough about this pharmacy I will be looking for a different pharmacy after today.

I never normally leave a bad review nor do I have a bad experience with this pharmacy but this just blew my mind.Long story short I got prescribed a bowel prep for my colonoscopy the following day, I timed it perfectly between getting out of work at 4, getting my medicine and the stuff I was going to mix it with and starting my prep at 5 like I had been instructed to.I was told my prescription would be ready after 2:00pm on Tuesday that day.So I got out of work, ran over to Sussex Meijer pharmacy to pick it up because it was supposed to be ready.I get to the counter, the pharmacist helps me out and asks which prescription I'm picking up today and I let her know. Then she turns around and tells me they're out of stock but she can call a couple places to see if they had it. So she calls 2 places and both of them were out of stock too, and she tells me she can write the prescription down and I can try to find it somewhere else. I just don't understand why I was left to be responsible for finding my own prescription that should've already been there for me to pick up. Seeing that my appointment was the next day. I also asked why didn't anyone bother calling me and letting me know that they were out of stock, nor did they even contact other stores to find it but just left me on my own to call around when I had less than 40 minutes to start my bowel prep. I never received a phone call, a voicemail about any of this and had I known ahead of time I could've had more time to find it. I was frustrated beyond belief at the negligence I experienced at that pharmacy that day. It look me only 2 phone calls to find what I was looking for but I had to start my bowel prep an hour later because of the inconvenience I experienced. Sad to say I will never return to that pharmacy again. Huge shoutout to Pewaukee Walgreens for having what I needed. It was the off brand but hey it still worked! And I was able to make my appointment the next day, no thanks to meijer pharmacy. I just don't understand it and their process and I apologize for not understanding it. But had that been me working there and this poor customer was inconvenienced like I was, I wouldn't get off that phone until I found it because I know how important people's prescriptions are and I would never want to leave someone feeling the way I felt that day.

The staff here are beyond nice and helpful. This is the only pharmacy that was willing to order the travel vaccines I needed for an upcoming trip. Other mainstream pharmacies were not interested in putting forth the extra effort I know it took. After talking with two different staff from Meijer pharmacy, I felt appreciated and taken care of.

Went into the deli at 4:45 on a Saturday looking for some fried chicken and a couple side (mac/cheese & potato wedges). Mac/cheese was almost gone so we asked for them to make a fresh batch and we would wait. We put our order in and left to finish shopping. Once home we realized the Mac and cheese was filled up 1/8th of the way. We called the store to find out how this happened and were basically told deal with it. Talk about customer service.
