With the storms/flooding from the past weekend, I found myself needs a few things early Sunday morning. I got to the store before there open time of 8 am, figuring I would be waiting in a line, in the rain to get supplies. The team was already letting customers in helping them get the supplies they needed. Thank you! It was helpful to those who were fighting the flooding waters!

One of the nicer Menards around, I can't stand their rebate program. I just wish there was lower prices to begin with. We will be taking back a broken toilet seat next time we are there.

Menards, had the product I wanted and the staff to help me. There 11% rebate is a scam because you must use your rebate as a store credit. If they raise the price 11% and you use there store credit, guess what, they win.

The forklift operator declined to assist with loading materials onto the pallet, citing it as outside the scope of their responsibilities. This resulted in a negative customer service experience. We will not be patronizing this establishment in the future.

Bought a basement window. I should of looked closer because when I got it home I found a crack in the vinyl box enclosure. However, they will take it back with no problem. Unfortunately, it was the last one in stock.

OMG! Customer service no longer exists. I waited until the week to shop and place my order for a rain showerhead and upright garage-ready freezer because you NEVER can find help on the weekend. So I decided to shop (in-person) on Tuesday. It was dead in the store where the service people were stocking shelves and talking amongst themselves. I was able to find a very pleasant and helpful young man to order the showerhead. Now for the main purchase - the freezer. I walked over to the department to look at their supply which was limited. I was there for 20-25 minutes reading the appliance materials and no one walked by and there was no one at the CABINET desk. REALLY!!!! Does anyone work in this department. So I walked to the checkout; maybe I could order at the checkout or Customer Service Desk. I was informed by the cashier, Megan I had to go back to the freezers and she would call someone to assist me. I walked back to the department and waited another 15 minutes. One person saw me waiting but pivoted in a different direction when he saw me. He walked past me again but kept on walking. If Menards doesn't appreciate their customers, they will have the same fate as Sears. I will be closing my account with Menards and take my business elsewhere.

(As an environmental professional and a tree hugger going to Menards is tough) … but what isn’t tough is $$saving tons of money and pretty much finding whatever you are looking for👀.
The people are very nice & you can get just about anything to take care of your home to go camping to upgrade your home to build things outside. You can create your garden Haven. You can redo your entire house with materials located at Menards. I arrived very late, close to closing and I had to pick up a big dog crate and I ended up buying a couple other things and everybody was very nice. I think I was the last customer and people were super cool. I guess since it’s already built and everything is already there why not even if you are a tree hugger :) !!

Not much more disappointing than asking to speak with the manager, and having them send a lead cashier out to field my concerns. Be brave, face the customer, make the correction, thank them for letting you know, and be grateful they are still willing to bring their business in. Home Depot and Lowes are not that far from you.

I have done several kitchen projects through menards on a couple properties that I own, and each time I have worked with Mohammed. And he has always proven to go the extra mile to make things easy for me. I truly appreciate him and hope that menards knows he is an asset to their company. And in a world that seems to complain about everything we should point out when someone does extraordinary work, too, if I could give him more than five stars I would. Thank you Mohammed for always being awesome.

Online order for store pick up.
Sneaky crooks. At the very end of ordering, just before you kit order, they sneak in a $5.00 service fee. I'm ordering with Farm and Fleet or Walmart for 40lb birds seed. Not paying for ordering online!!
