I will definitely go back to this Store whenever I need to buy anything for my bike or have bike issues. Carlos greeted me right away and listen to my issue with my bike seat. He was very knowledgeable on how to fix it . He let me test, drive another used bike that same day. And even though I didn’t spend a penny that day, I will definitely go back when I do need something. You don’t come across that kind of service anymore. So refreshing thanks, Carlos.

I will admit that I was a little hesitant to bring my bike to Velocity. In retrospect this sounds dumb but all of my past LBS have been on the gritty side and Velocity seemed like the cliche shop where you need to be a pro if you want any attention. Well a few other places didn't feel right or never returned phone calls. My son has recently gotten big enough to inherit my 94 GT Zaskar but the bike needed some serious rehab. I decided to give Velo a shot. From the second I walked in Scott was treating me like a VIP. He gave the bike a once-over, we talked about my concerns with it, and explained the services available. He even knew the way to a rider's heart is to compliment the ride, and he let me talk his ear off about it. The mechanic bios were impressive on the website, so by the time I walked out I knew everything was in good hands. I was told three weeks with a hope to beat that estimate. I got the call about two weeks later. Picking up the bike was carefree. The most important part is the workmanship and it is topnotch. This bike feels brand new. I almost went over my handlebars in the parking lot because the brakes were so improved. The shifting is like warm butter.I can't say enough good things about this shop and will recommend it to anyone in Lake Country.Update: still a fantastic place with magicians working as mechanics. Anything I ask them to fix or tune up comes back feeling better than the day I bought it. They employ good people and the only negative thing I can say is that I hear they are going to close shop permanently soon.

Was going to buy a chain online but glad I stopped at my LBS instead. Carlos gave me a whole lesson on cleaning and maintaining my drivetrain. Very friendly and knowledgeable!

The following is the very first review I've ever posted about anything : Carlos is the most competent , knowledgeable , and articulate sales rep I've ever encountered. I bought my Specialized bike there last year and a much needed saddle change today . I give Velo City and Caros an A+++

Was in on Monday. Looking to pick up some Christmas gifts. There was a guy in the back hallway working on a bike. We tried to get his attention to no avail....rang the bell at the empty bar, and waited a few minutes more before leaving. They arent interested in making money.

These guys are great. One time they saved me on the way to a race by taking a part they didn't have in stock off one of their showroom floors (thereby not being able to sell that bike until the part came in).Another time, after Allis Bike & Fitness broke my bike, VeloCity was able to fix it like new. Great mechanics who are personable, professional and actually care.

Shop never seems to have the same employees working when the store is open. I brought my bike in for a tune-up. The person told me that the current turn around for service was 10 days. I visited the shop 12 days from dropping it off. They hadn't even touched my bike. I was told the techs could tune it up today. Just Do Your Job and stick to your schedule.
