as someone who worked here i am very disappointed by the staff and the managers of this specific location. i started working here while in school and they were extremely disrespectful to my needs and flexibility. when i got hired i told them i needed as many shifts as possible cause i needed some kind of income while i was in school. they scheduled me 2 times a week while others (the favorites) got any shift they wanted. my first day started almost two months after i was interviewed and told i got the job. they told me i would be-able to start right away after i got the email saying i was hired. like i said almost 2 months later i had my first day and got no training they just threw me in with no idea how to do anything. and the people that did train me 2 weeks after my start date had no clue what they were doing. i had picked up so many shifts when people would call off and never got paid for those shifts i also was scammed and was not paid in my full amount. obviously there is tax with paychecks but the amount i got did not come close to making scence with how much i did work. my last paycheck that i got was $63 when i worked a full week monday-sunday and was told id be paid $14.50 an hour. they owe me at-least $400 worth of money. i was very uncomfortable with certain staff members being creepy and inappropriate towards younger female employee and im not the only one that felt this way. the way they run their business is digesting and very unprofessional. i do not recommend working here or shopping at this location unless you want to be scammed, bullied, left-out, or uncomfortable. and i will say they aren't just bullies staff the people they would judge and maker fun off is god awful. be careful. one last thing i will say is it took me two month after i quit to hear a response from them about mailing me my last paycheck. i had to threaten a law suit just to hear back from them. like i said disgusting and unprofessional.

Sorryest excuse for a "sporting goods" store. Not one fishing or hunting item. Wasted drive... sad face

We had purchased some gloves from Dick’s online…. and when we got them they still had the anti-theft device connected. So we went to the Dick’s Sporting Goods store. The guy at the front desk removed the device in about 10 seconds. He was super friendly and helpful. We decided to walk around the store and do some shopping. That was when we found The North Face gloves for our granddaughter. Dick’s is always a fun place to shop. They have everything you would ever want that is sports related. The stores are always clean…. And the staff is friendly and helpful.

Tried to buy a bike and they wouldn't let me take it home because there was no one to do a safety inspection if they were smart they would do that before it went up for sale so I'm going somewhere else to buy a bike

Toni was super friendly and helpful with my online purchase. The gentleman (didn't catch his name-Joe?) who helped me get my purchase into my van was great. Very good experience!

Went in to find a clear stadium bag which I knew they carried and saw were available for in store pickup. I asked sales associate Stevie about them and she looked confused and immediately said she didn't think they carried them. I proceeded to check out and asked the cashier who immediately went over their headset and had all associates looking for it. Turns out there were 12 in stock. If I didn't need it, I would have walked out. This is unacceptable Stevie, it's literally your job.

The tall, older gentleman named William at the golf desk is a phenomenal asset to the store. Super friendly, funny and most importantly HELPFUL. Give that man a raise

I stopped in today to buy golf balls. Four employees were at the golf desk talking. I purposely stood and stared at the golf balls to see how long it would take for one of them to ask me if I needed help. And just as I suspected they just continue to talk and not help me. I grabbed what I wanted and headed for the check out. One cashier and seven customers in line. I saw the cashier call twice for help, meanwhile those same four employees continued to stand at the golf desk doing nothing. I put the golf balls back on the shelf and will be giving my money to someone else. This is one of the reasons people are buying things off of Amazon. No lazy poor attitude employees to deal with most everything is a little cheaper and it comes to my door.

On the expensive side ,but the variety they have is unmatched to any other store for sports and outdoor wear. The Pleasent Prairie location is the best as far as cleanliness and organization. The greeter is actually helpful if you know what your going for. I especially love the point system. Thanks to them, we will have on the skee hills ?
