We really like the JCPenny location in Pleasant Prairie and find that we have good service at the location any time we are there. JCPenny has a great portrait studio that always has good Christmas backgrounds for the season. We have got our Christmas pictures at JCPenny for years following some not so great experiences at a different brand of store. The portrait studio photo folks always seem to have things together and do very well. Some photos don't turn out good but they have always done well at taking a few of each different pose guaranteeing a shot you will like. The employees always have done well directing us into different poses that turned out well. I would recommend joining the portrait club as it does save money and if you can manage to get the membership toward the end of the Christmas season one year & then get in earlier the following year you can make the one year membership last over two Christmas seasons if that's really the only time you get photos like we did.The store itself is also very big with a great selection. Admittedly we only really come during the sales, but if you can find the sales timeframes you can get some quality items for a great price. The JCPenny credit card also ensures that you get some additional sale prices so it can really be worth it to sign up.

I have NOTHING against jcpenneys portraits other than leaving a review here to plead with the owner to BETTER STAFF the portraits group during the holiday season. Yesterday we got family xmas photos on a TUESDAY and we showed up respectively 10 minutes early but with only one person on staff we were seen 30+ minutes past our appointment time. I do not fault the employee. By the time we finished with our shoot, there were 2 more families there looking very annoyed for having to wait for so long. NOT THE EMPLOYEE FAULT. I was greeted by TWO people entering the building standing and greeting. Please maybe actually staff your portraits area better due to the holiday season. It's unfair to customers and unfair to your single employee who is having to constantly apologize for running behind. NOT THE EMPLOYEES FAULT!

My extended family had an appointment at this locations photo center for a few weeks for a photoshoot as a present for my parents. This appointment was set around the schedule of 3 different households due to the fact that this was really the only day that worked for all the households. On only an hours notice prior to our appointment, we recieved a call and were told that the photo center was operating 2 hours late and that our 5pm appointment likely couldn't happen as the store closes at 7pm. While I understand that this time of the year is the busiest time of the year, but a 2 delay of 2hrs doesn't just happen suddenly. I wish we were informed of the delay further in advance as the late notice has now left us little to no options with dwindling day light. Had we had been given a bit more notice we likely could have came up with a resolution on our own. My family has utilized multiple JCP photo centers over the past handful of years (3 times this year) and I can confidently say we will likely not be utilizing this location in the future and may need to find a new solution as our experience with JCP photo centers hasn't been great since the Johnsburg location closed.

Came to this store after looking at pictures online. I really like the Stafford brand for men and I was in the area so why not stop in. I really liked the store because it looks like an actual store that I would like to shop in. The store looked well stocked with merchandise and it had working fitting rooms.A very friendly woman greeted me while I was shopping. The restroom for men was clean and in working order.They had to young people working up front at the Checkout that were barely helpful.I wish the JCPs near me in Illinois were this nice.Next time I come up this way I will visit this store again.

I had to find a dress for a wedding. I was all out of local options... then I went to the Kenosha JC Penney. The SELECTION was amazing... clothes, shoes, decor, baby ...I guess I just forgot about what a great store it is. If you have not been there for awhile... check it out.

Went to Saphora in JCPENNEY's to look at foundations.( I hate shopping for make-up) but the associate Maya was very helpful and knowledgeable. I got what I needed in mere moments and left with exactly what I was looking for

Stopped by just to browse Jcpenny is not my go to store but we had an uncomfortable experience every alise we went to I think it was the manager was always by us she never did that to others, once we where going to checkout she appeared outta no where by us she knew what was she was doing looking at us then once we got are things she stood by the entrance like if we didn't pay for something. Her actions are disgusting to the business I would not be returning. She made us feel racially profiled yes we are a hispanic family that just wanted to browse.

I want to start off this review by saying the store was pretty vacant and now I know why. The reason for stopping by was for a new bra for me as well as the Labor Day sale so when we finally found the bras nothing was in my size (I’m a 38 DD) they were poorly made, (you can find the same ones at Walmart for cheaper) so we decide to look for pants for my brother we stop by this rack and it’s a big sign that says 6.99$ so I was thinking it’s a good deal and picked it up we walk all the way to check out and we get checked out by an employee named Brandon and he says the pants are 20$ and we’re like no the sign clearly states 6.99$ so he calls over this frail woman my guess is the manager named Betty we explain the situation to her and she demands that we go show the employee Brandon the rack in which we were talking about this was our first time going to the store in a while so we didn’t really know where to go and the incompetent employee Brandon said wElL i DoNt wOrK iN bOys being very rude and didn’t know his way around the store so we walk around the store like idiots for literally FIFTEEN MINUTES finally find the rack and the employee Brandon was like oH i dOnT kNoW wHy tHeSe aRe hErE bUt tHeY sHoUlDn’T bE and agreed with us however left the pants on the shelf to confuse future customers so we walk back to the front of the store and we go to check out again and Brandon again says there 20$ and we ask well, you’re not gonna honor the price? Since it’s JCPennys fault for confusing customers and he reply’s to us in a nasty tone NO, Not even a sorry. Wasted our TIME, GAS and MONEY Nothing I hope JCPenny does something about their rude and condescending staff. And We will NEVER be back

Not one pair of plus size stretch shorts and it's 90° outside today !!! Air conditioning barely on...had to leave before fully shopping. The ladies bathroom is starting to look worn. Bare shelves, piles of clothes willy-nilly, just bad. Never returning, you lost me.
