So pleased with Lowe's! Ordered a refrigerator online and the two delivery men were super nice and very knowledgeable. And today, when I went in to pick up,a few odds and ends, Rollie personally walked me to all the areas and since I'm short got them down for me. When he wasn't sure one of the items was still being stocked he went to look for them while I shopped for Christmas decoration.

I ordered a ladder on July 1st, 2022. I was told at the time they had this ladder in their warehouse, but they could not get it to me until August 1st, 2022 and that I should call that date to check that it was in. I called on August 1st and was told it was not in. I said I would check in a week's time. I called on August 9th. I was told it was not in, but it might be on the way. I expressed my dismay at Lowe's incompetence. Their new estimate was it would arrive in the store on Sept. 2nd. They asked if I wanted a refund on my money. I said "No, I really need this ladder. I will wait. I called on September 6th, 2022, and asked if my ladder was in. I was told no. They said it was on its way, but, it would first have to be checked in at their warehouse. And then it could to be sent to its Stevens Point store. I asked to speak with the manager, not an assistant manager, of the store. Their employee said yes and I was asked to wait while being connected. After awhile, I decided to write this critique as I wait to speak to the manager. My wait has been approximately twenty minutes, so far. In my opinion, that is long enough. After finishing this review, I plan to call the store again, cancel the order, and ask for my money back. Obviously, I am never going to shop there again. Even the Rating of Zero is too good a rating for such tom foolery. Especially, in today's age. But the lowest I can give is a one, so I give them a one. If there was such number rating as Minus Zero for their incompetence, I would feel much more secure in the honesty of my rating. P.S. This postscript I am writing as a follow-up in order to let all know how I was handled after finishing the above review. What happened in exact order of occurrence, was the first phone call wherein I was waiting to speak to the manager, the Lowe's employee disconnected me. I called a second time and asked to speak with the store's manager and not an assistant manager, the Lowe's employee connected me to one of their Assistant Managers, anyways. I asked for the Manager again and I was told he just left for lunch. I asked for my money back and the best the Assistant Manager said she could do for me was credit my credit card account. The end.

this is a great store, they have a wide variety of woods and materials and delivery doesn't take as long as you'd think! i've always been a fan of lowes and i don't think they ever disappoint. sure, sometimes they don't have what you need but that happens sometimes, every store is unique. they have so many sections in the store for lighting, paints, gardening, wood, carpet, appliances, etc. and they sell high quality products! sure it's a bit expensive for some things but quality isn't free

We ordered several Levelor blinds through the Plover WI store, Delivery took several weeks, which was fine. Shipment arrived yesterday, but the longest blind was missing parts, namely the standard interior support brackets (need three so the top rail doesn't sag or bend. They sent all the necessary screws, but not brackets. Called the store on Friday, they will send in an order for brackets on Monday, Levelor will then ship, arrival in 4-7 days thereafter. No hint or offer of overnight shipping to rectify Levelor's goof-up. Sad.

9/3/20 I called & asked for the building dept. I asked the girl who answered if they had 1/2" steel Z flashing. She looked it up on the computer & said yes we have 30 pieces. I said I had already looked it up on the computer & saw the same thing, but before I drive the 2 hour round trip to your store I would like someone to physically go look. She said just a minute, and then proceeded to look it up another way on the computer & said yes we do have some. I said I don't want to drive an hour & find out your computer is wrong, I want you to go look. She said she didn't know what Z flashing was & would have to go find someone. SERIOUSLY! She answered in the building dept. Why is she there if she doesn't know about building supplies. She put me on hold to go look for someone who knew what Z flashing was & could go look. I waited & waited and no one ever came back on the line. We decided to drive the hour anyway. When we got there, lo and behold, the slot under the 1/2" steel Z flashing was empty. Next to it was a different size Z flashing & it was aluminum. It didn't have any tag underneath giving a description or price, but it looked like there were 30 pieces. It was obvious, whoever put it out on the floor, didn't take the time to research & do it right. Instead, they just checked 3/4" aluminum Z flashing in as 1/2" steel Z flashing. I'm sure they didn't care. We waited 20 minutes for a manager. He only looked around the shelves & then said sorry, we don't have any. We explained that we had called before driving all the way to his store. He just said 'sorry" again. We had to demand that he go in back to look, at least to confirm they didn't have any, and there wasn't. Then he wouldn't offer us anthing for our inconvenience. He couldn't have any sent to our house, not without a $75 delivery charge. He couldn't offer us a discount for our now 2 hour trip. He said we can come back (another 2 hour round trip) if and when they got some & that we would have to keep calling them to see if they got some in. He blamed being out of stock on the computer & says it happens a lot. I have been in retail & the computer is only as good as the personnel entering the information. All around, they have a young, very inexperience staff and very poor management. DO NOT USE this store if you want any professional advice or information.

LOWE'S NEEDS A LEMON LAW ON APPLIANCES!!!!! I will start my story by saying this...First experience, purchased a Stove from Lowe's, that was appliance # 1. Opened oven door & hinge broke. Talked to Lowe's Employee for advice, they acted clueless as to what to do to fix it, even though there was an identical stove in the store. Also a griddle was supposed to come with the stove, never got one. Asked about that, once again, they acted clueless. Appliance # 2...Purchased an Upright Freezer from Lowe's. Had it for a 2 days, it malfunctioned. Lost all food in it. Had to take it back to the Store. Told Store Employee what happened, they once again seemed clueless, no apologies, nothing. Was told that by the end of May/begining of June, new Freezers would be in stock. Almost July & none yet. Appliance # 3...Refridgerator/Freezer Combo. Had for a little over a year & it died, once again, lost all food in it. Needless to say, thinking they have junk appliances & sorry Lowe's, after three strikes, your OUT!!!! Wondering at this point, if a lot of these appliances are refurbished ones, just not making Customers aware of it. In a little over a year, 3 appliances gone wrong, just so uneceptable. Also ordered a large order of Flooring. Asked for help loading it. Young Employee brought it out & just left it there. Another not happy moument at Lowe's!!

We went with the purpose to buy a new grill, found the one ($500+) and stood around for 15 mins waiting to ask for help to get it, finally when associates kept ignoring us, we had to go to CS to ask, they called an associate to go and help, but came, said I will be right with you, went to help ANOTHER associate with a customer that wanted a lounge chair cushion, we observed both associates helping to find a cushion for about 15 mins, the customer left, the associate left and the one supposed to come back to us, just ignored us and left, so 30 mins waiting and no help. We left and bought the Charbroil gas grill in HOME DEPOT. I will not come back where customers are obviously NOT needed, much less NOT appreciated.

Generally speaking the service I get at this location is just fine. At times there will be IMO a bit of shortage of help. But with a little patience all is fine. Recently I ordered a load of decking materials. They brought it out about 3 days later. The driver was very friendly and helpful..... I'll be back

One star is for Lowe's available supplies and stock, which can be lacking and low at times and the other one star is for a manager named Dan. As I read all the negative reviews about this Lowe's location and some of their employees' poor customer service, I have to sadly agree. In 2007, I built my home using many of Lowe's appliances, lighting, and more. I've always received hit-or-miss good customer service. So needless to say, I've spent hundreds of thousands of dollars at this location and I'm not a new customer. Today, I had a very negative experience with an associate named Mark. I needed a new flush valve for my toilet. When Mark came to "assist" me, he asked me if I had the model, make and a picture of the contents of my toilet tank. I did not have what he asked for but I had the old part which I took with me to Lowe's so I did not arrive empty handed. I was hoping an associate could help me match my old piece to a new piece. When I showed the old valve to Mark, he threw his hands up in the air and said, "Then I cannot help you, ma'am", and proceeded to walk away. I told him he did not need to treat me that way and if I knew what I was looking for, I would not have asked for help. I told him I'd be talking to a manager. Even if that was the case, there was no need for him to respond the way he did. Mark continued to argue with me saying he didn't give me attitude and that I may go talk to a manager. Mark continued to stay in the area for a short while and ignored me as I combed through numerous valves, not knowing which piece would even come close to what I had in my hand. Not once did he come over and attempt to assist me. I talked to a manager named Dan, who was at the time, in the paint department. Dan was very helpful and helped me find the matching piece. I can tell he genuinely tried to make my experience better. He thanked me for my continued business and informed me that Mark's behavior will be addressed. So, thank you, Dan for helping me find what I needed when Mark chose not to. I truly hope Mark's unnecessary and rude behavior will be addressed and that he will not be allowed to treat any more customers the way he treated me.

This review is of the Rubbermaid closet-organizer systems, and not of Lowe's as a store. We went with a free (and very, very rudimentary) software package available on Lowe's/Rubbermaid website (not easy to find -- advertised in the store, but nowhere else). One does place a layout of shelves on a simple closet schematic, and the software specifies the materials and total price. Alas, the software is full of significant holes: for example even though various types of shelves are available (some more suitable than others) the software does not mention it. The same with brackets: in my case, the software specified a type of bracket that does not fit shelf recommended in the software (a 50-mile trip for me to return parts and get new ones). Rubbermaid also offers vertical supports (of brackets) of various lengths and shapes, and not surprisingly, in my case, it has specified a wrong length. In addition, various types of vertical supports are not compatible with one another (here is another 50-mile trip to replace parts). The hard-copy of instructions available in the store is of no help, as it is not detailed at all. Lowe's personnel had no idea/training what parts to recommend -- they pointed me to the isle in the store and left.

This is for ALL Lowes and the junk appliances they sell. I bought a GE washer around 2015. Didn't work. Lowes and GE was fighting over who was going to cover the warrantee and I was stuck in the middle. Finally I had to threaten I was going to the BBB before anything was done. Now my not even a year old Whirlpool refrigerator stopped cooling on the bottom. An appointment was made for today and it was going to be fixed, NOT. The guy never showed up. When I called Lowes they said the guy can't do any warrantee work. Would have been nice if someone would have called and told me that before I stayed home from work. Then another company called and said it wasn't going to be until Nov. 5 until I threw a royal fit. Now they want to do it Wednesday which means I have to again take ANOTHER day off from work. Let's see around $100 worth of meat and approximately $160 in wages. I probably could just shut up and have bought a used one for that. NEVER AGAIN. Too bad because it's nice to have free delivery. I'll just have find another appliance company and get someone to haul the appliance home.

If I could give this store less than one star I would. Went to purchase carpeting for a 250 sq ft room. Not a small purchase. But we couldn't get an associate to even talk to us. The one employee that we stopped to ask for help literally told us that he didn't know much and then proceeded to read the signage to us. He tried to call someone else for help and was told to tell us to wait 10 minutes while he placed an order in some other part of the store. We should wait until he is ready?! That's not the way you "wait" on a customer. Told the woman at the check out counter how we couldn't get any help and she told us they should have called a manager to help us. Yet she didn't bother to call one herself. I guess you can't get anyone to help you at this Lowe's. Won't be buying anything from them anytime soon. Oh wait! Can't buy anything from them anytime soon. No one to sell it to you. On our way to Home Depot.

I bought flooring from Lowe's in Plover WI a year ago and within six months it began to separate and chip. The floor was installed by Lowe's contractors. For the past 5 months we have been trying to get the floor fixed. After over 50 phone calls we were told we have to pay to have a new floor installed because we needed a sub floor placed, and that we have to pay for all costs, and the chipping floor is not their responsibility. So I would advise anyone going to Lowe's for flooring or install, DON'T. I suggest Menard's or Home Depot. Lowe's has terrible customer service and do not guarantee their work.

Stood in line for 20 minutes. Only had one lane open. Not much more to say except that it sucked.
