The store and staff earn a 5 star, except for a terrible experience at the building desk. "Ida S." was VERY rude to my mother when she couldn't pick up privacy fences the same day, and stated "thats NOT my problem" in a horrible tone. Noone should ever be treated like that and she clearly should not be in customer service.

Plover was horrible. Fork lift operator out of control. Running full of throttle and not using horn. Very dangerous operator. Took 4 trips to service counter to get my order correct. Poor layout. Not like other Menards. Most help USELESS except lighting and front desk manager. Nice young lady. Lumber desk and especially the yard need work. 2 people are ok at lumber desk. Yard help inside or driving the forklift fast as possible, forks high up. Drive thru doors full throttle. No horn. I WILL LIKELY NEVER EVER EVER BUY LUMBER HERE AGAIN. ITS DANGEROUS! Lumber quality was low too.

Any of you complaining about the garden center.. use common sense. They don’t have the staff to have the register open all the time. Also, they can’t keep the door open with no cashier in there because people would steal stuff all the time. Not that hard to think about other people and not just yourselves.

You need to start opening your garden center entrance. It’s not appropriate that you’re expecting people to walk all the way around to the front of the store when they are elderly people that cannot do so. I was there for less than five minutes and over 10 people came up, trying to use the entrance and order items, but could not.
This is the time of year where it needs to be opened. Please do so because you’re gonna lose a lot of customers that are unable to walk that far.

Had a marine battery that was less than a year old and it was defective. The young lady at the service desk said no returns without a receipt. She would not scan the battery. She was kind enough to offer me a core deposit for my less than a year old battery that was no good. So I just went to Walmart and bought one there. They will take a return on a battery without a receipt. Lesson learned!

I ordered online and received an email saying my order arrived, and to wait about an hour before coming in to pick it up. Well, it's been a little more than an hour and I came into the gate, called the number on the sign and after it rang about 30 times someone picked up and said my order had not been unloaded yet. Now we wait. Received 11:05 Thanks.
