Really good food. We had the stew and the fish. For a starter we had a toasted chs sandwich that was probably the best I've had.

O.M.G. This was the best place we happened upon while exploring Plymouth! Night 1: Great drinks, great bartender! Fun bar games!Night 2: We went for dinner/happy hour specials and the food was AMAZING!!! Jess had great recommendations for drinks and food, and we were not disappointed! We plan on booking here next year to stay at the hotel!

This is the best place we stumbled upon!!! We were in town for Indycar and were walking around Plymouth when we found this gem! The vintage design inside is what captivated my party as we sat down to the bar for a round. The owner/bartender was quick and attentive. We had such a great time that we returned the next night for food. I can’t even describe the dopamine hit as every bite of food touched my lips. I was downright giddy. We are planning to return next summer to book a room for Indy and am already looking forward to it!!

Incredible selection and service. The owner and bartender makes amazing drinks of her own creation and everything we had on the menu was amazing. We travelled 5 hours down for a different event and will make the trip again just for 52 Stafford.

What a delightful hotel. We were in town for a funeral service and this hotel was a balm to our sadness. Close to everything, great bar, sheets, towels and service. Very quiet. Will return to Plymouth just to enjoy this authentic town!

Went out for a date night with my girlfriend. While the service was good and we enjoyed the live Wednesday night Irish Music, there was not much else to brag about. The value of the meal and wine was grotesque. We were asked if we would like to start with a soup or salad. My gf ordered soup and I ordered a salad - to which the server recommended a caesar salad. Little did I know that I would be charged $16 for the meatless small-medium salad, and my gf's cup of soup was lukewarm. We also ordered a bottle of moscato, which when it came out we were disgruntled to find out it was Bay Bridge - something I could buy for $5 at the grocery store and not be charged $30 for at a restaurant if I wanted a headache. Our main course was the pastrami mac and cheese - which sounded mouth watering on the menu, but turned out to lack the great flavor that was construed on the menu.I did mention the price of the caesar salad to the owner when we paid the bill, but figured I would forget the wine after hearing her reply to what I thought was going to be a side salad. She said she would talk to the waitress and give me the salad for half price - $8. I loved this place 2 owners ago, but I regrettably will not be back.

Wednesday was a great day to step into this beautiful irish pub and hotel. This was my first time and I was blown away by the coziness and hospitality. The staff made me feel welcome, the food was amazing and the live Irish music was phenomenal. I didn't need a room for the night but I bet those are well maintained and vintage like everything else throughout the hotel. I definitely will be back for another wonderful experience.Nearby activities: Wonderful location to walk around and see the beautiful art murals and paintings.Safety: The staff here make you feel safe and comfortable.Walkability: Definitely a cozy atmosphere that has walkability of getting anywhere in Plymouth.Food & drinks: If you want high class or just a local beer they have a wide range of beverages and liqueurs.Noteworthy details: Take notes to come back to this spot because you will be blown away by the live Irish music experience.

It looked like the hotel name changed, but what a wonderful find! The staffs are extremely personable and kind. They’d go above and beyond to help you. It’s an old historical establishment so you’d expect to see fraying here and there which add character. It’s clean and quiet and chef is very talented. Even the continental breakfast - like pastry and quiche were made from scratch on premises. Will be back.

A beautiful historic hotel trying to find it's way under new, laissez faire management. The dinner was a work in progress with a limited selection of tasty and intriguing entrees but no appetizers or desserts.Breakfast was self-service continental and also limited (coffee and juice, no tea, etc.)Fortunately there are a number of cafes, bars, and restaurants within a short walk of this centrally located site.

Received the absolute worst service from a blonde woman who apparently is part owner. The woman that greeted us when we walked in was great, very sweet. This other woman walks up and takes care of us the rest of the time we’re there. She was rude, talked down when we were simply just trying to hear about the tap beers. Walked in to get a certificate for a family member, get a drink, and walked out before we could even get to that. Beautiful place a a couple sweet employees, such a shame that someone that is said to be one to help run it is so rude.

Visited restaurant only- food was excellent as was staff. Our first visit and will return. Charming interior and guests were friendly as well. Menu limited, however they do it right. Even a plate of cookies as you leave.
