Johnson Store is a great little store located beside the road with easy parking. It offers a good selection of fresh local fish like salmon, whitefish, trout, herring, and smoked fish. The store also has great little cuts of local beef, a variety of local beers, and other grocery items like cheese, pickles, and packaged mushrooms. It is a place with darn near everything one might need, including gas at reasonable prices and good prices for 91 non-oxy fuel. The inside and restrooms are a bit run-down but clean, which is nothing out of the ordinary for the area. The staff is professional. The store is open almost every day of the year, providing reliability for those visiting cabins or taking a fall drive. It is a good stop for a quick munch, a nice coffee, or to top off a gas tank, offering a simple and useful service for the community.
