Midwest Cremation did a wonderful job of taking care of my little girl. The urn and paw print are the perfect way to memorialize her at home. The team was friendly and empathetic during this difficult time.

I am writing this review not to complain but to hope that more care is given in the future than was given to my family and my dog of 14 years. Sadly this past week we had to put our dog down, we had him from a puppy and he was a huge part of our family and we are completely lost and devastated without him. We chose to have him cremated & get his paw print and bring him back home with us, however when we were told his remains were ready we were then told that his paw print was not taken before he was cremated. We were even more devastated with this, we looked forward to having his ashes and his paw print, the little pieces of him we could always have. It is obvious not enough care was given to our pet and for that I chose to leave this review, I do hope in the future more care is given to other grieving families and their pets, because they took a piece of him we can never get back.

We own an animal sanctuary and unfortunately we had to put one of our cows down. She was only one and her name was Olga and she was the sweetest beautiful girl. I had been speaking with Rachel she was such a great help and extremely caring. They even did a good job when they came and picked her up. When we got her ashes Rachel and another lady were very Caring and made me feel better as I was crying. I would definitely recommend.

I want to start off by saying that the packaging they give you for the pickup is so well put together, the paw prints done by Kora were amazing and I can't stop feeling them, the texturing is amazing. You can see all the details from your loved ones paws. The urn itself is also very steady and well done. Please don't look at the one review and overlook this place. They really do care about you and your pet.

Character. They say character is how you act when nobody is looking.I lost my cat, Rebbie on December 19, 2022. Her remains were returned to me and I was so impressed I phoned Midwest Cremation Service (Poynette, Wi.) to tell them how wonderful I felt when I witnessed how perfectly they had presented everything.A cremation certificate printed on top quality heavy paper in a beautiful folder. The envelope containing the certificate was very high quality with a seal (a paw print on it) used to close it. Even the small bag that everything came in was so very nice. Also, pamphlets about grieving the loss of a pet and even phone numbers to make contact with professionals that would help with the loss process. And the beautiful wooden box with her remains. I ordered a name plaque which was also done very well.As for the process itself, it feels like you're sending your pet away to people that you don't even know. Only now do I know that every step was taken to monitor Rebbie from leaving the veterinary clinic with the Midwest Cremation Representative, to arriving at Midwest Cremation Service, and the identification processes are held in place on very high levels to ensure her safe and peaceful return to me. They knew the entire time and throughout each step, just where Rebbie was.I'm so pleased and amazed at how these people actually do care. When I spoke with them on the phone, they truly were kind, sympathetic, and very professional, yet like a neighbor. It's hard to say good bye to a beloved pet. Today, I am at peace with the loss of Rebbie. The final act of her life, as I have come to know now, was put in the hands of people that truly know what character is. They have been simply excellent. Superb.I do not do reviews, but this one had to be done.If you wish to have your pet treated with love and dignity, do not hesitate to put your trust in Midwest Cremation Service.Who would know there are people this wonderful to care for Rebbie's remains? My endless thanks for treating both Rebbie and me with such great care. Thank you for helping me with the passing of my horse of 20 years, Scout! The actual pickup guy was very caring and explained everything well. Also, big thank you to the staff for working through this unexpected cost- i am glad he was cared for so well even after passing and when I got him back, it was very beautiful. Thanks again!

I have used MCS several times and have always been treated with professionalism, compassion, and concern. I can't recommend this business highly enough. At times when I was too distraught to think straight, they took care of everything, and at a very fair price.

Thank you so much MCS, you made a very difficult situation so much easier. I couldn’t have asked for more compassion and understanding from the first call to the last. My 32 year old companion galloped to heaven and with in 2 hours of my phone call they were there to pick him up, I can’t put into words how wonderfully gentle and how they explained everything they were doing, handling everything with such dignity. He is back home and will definitely tell my horse friends to please consider your services....God Bless

This week, I sadly and warily took my 15 1/2 year old dachshund, Sugar, to MCS for a priority cremation, which is their private service for one pet in which the family can be in attendance. From making the appt with Melissa, to her meeting us as we pulled in the drive, and her utmost care and concern for us, to Adam ( who was the person in charge of the cremation itself), carefully and thoughtfully handling my girl's body, to his processing her ashes while we watched, to him handing us the urn he had so carefully wrapped for us with some kind words, all of it left us with a peaceful and "completed" feeling. I was an emotional wreck, and both Melissa and Adam seemed to understand and were compassionate and professional. My vet has used MCS for years and I had sent my other dogs there through my vet for private cremations ( not priority where we had attended), and we always wondered, as I am sure many people do, if the remains I received back were really my dogs ashes. While waiting for the process with Sugar to be complete, we had the opportunity to talk with Melissa, who was the person who "took care of us" while we were there. She was transparent and I believe, honest, about the volume of business the company does, and exactly how the "private" cremations are accomplished when they are sent through the vet. From our conversation and our experience there, I trust that this company does as they say they do. They do a very large volume of business servicing many vet clinics throughout the state, yet, while we were there, you would have thought they opened that day just for us. I can't say enough good things about MCS and the care that they took of my Sugar and of her family.
