Clean rooms, good customer service and best of all pets are always welcomed at no additional charge, all of this at an affordable rate. Definitely recommend this hotel!!!Food & drinks: Free coffee every morning at 6amNoteworthy details: They have designated areas for pets as well as several pet stations throughout the property. Along with a very nice outdoor summer set up...enjoy a quiet afternoon outside on the swing while reading a good book or sipping on a margarita, whichever you prefer.

I wasn't expecting much with staying at a motel 6, but no hot water and spending 170 for one night was past ridiculous considering what you get. They say you get what you pay for, but in this case, that was not true. My biggest complaint is the cost and no hot water. Also, when I asked the girl at the desk about hot water, she said, "Oh yeah, we have a problem with that. I can get you another room, but it would probably have the same problem."

Nasty flirty place. Staff are just as nasty. I wouldn't even let my dog stay there. They need to be close down. Call health department.

You get what you pay for and less. Spend a few dollars more and you will get toilets that flush, floors that aren' t rotted through, and so much more. There are plenty of other options in this town. I would rather sleep in my car than endure another night there.

It has quiet peaceful the people are friendly and everyone primarily keeps to them shelves can't say there's never been problems really in this area the only problems we seem to have in this town is an occasional bar fight downtown not saying that a plan could occur if someone came back from the bar drink and tried to provoke a problem here being drink

BEWARE DONT STAY HERE! This motel is just gross! I dont like to leave negative reviews because as a small business owner I know how hard it is. When we checked in the motel smelled disgusting because they dont clean the fish tanks in the lobby. The fish look dead in the cloudy nasty water! This was the first red flag but we just needed the motel for the night. We walked in the room and I could see someone cleaned it quick. The door didnt close properly. When we were in the room there were a ton of flies and a dirty tampon. It was so sketchy we couldn't even stand staying there 20 minutes. We left and we had to drive to La Cross Wi which is 70 miles away, just to find a room. Beware of bed bugs here! Also we noticed black mold on the ceiling in the corner of the room! The state inspector should check this place out!!

Had the unfortunate experience of staying a week in this hotel luckily boss paid for room and it didn't come out of my pocket. I would love to give a shout out to the house keeper Chloe for not doing a thing the whole week we were there. Not once has sheets been changed, trash taken out, toilet paper/towels brought to us or the rest of the work crew who are also staying here in different rooms. The hallways are nasty dirty and the poor fish in the tanks that are so dirty you can't see in them in the lobby. The only thing I like about this Motel is the front desk staff they are always so friendly and helpful in getting us the things that the lazy housekeeper will not. In my personal opinion you would be better off sleeping under a bridge with a homeless person than spend money here

DO NOT STAY AT THIS MOTEL! I have stayed at Motel 6 in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois and Indiana since 1980, most recently on the NW side of Indianapolis Fall 2022. I've always gotten good value for the buck. The Prairie Du Chien Motel 6 is nothing like any Motel 6 I have ever stayed at let alone seen from the outside. It is a very old and run down roadside motel. It is also VERY close to 2 sets of railroad tracks (63 yards as measured on Google Maps). 3 LOUD, LONG freight trains came through while I got a short and poor night's rest. Additionally, there was a party in the parking lot with loud music and drinking as evidenced the next morning by a pile of beer cans left by the partiers in the parking lot. At 3:19AM I was awakened by loud talking and laughter just outside my room door. The phone app I use as an alarm clock measures decibels (db) while you sleep. The party was 40db and each train was 50db: HIGH. The room was acceptable but what does it matter if noise is such that you can't sleep?! AND it was a monumental rip off: I paid $125.76 for 1 night. In contrast, the next night was spent at Holiday Inn Express Sauk City. First class experience all around, low noise (30db), pool, workout room, hot breakfast and 24/7 coffee included. Charge? $124.50. There's nothing that can be done to improve the Prairie Du Chien Motel 6 location. Even at 1/2 the price, it wouldn't be worth it. And it's most definitely a detriment to Motel 6's reputation. What were they thinking?

The woman that works the front desk in the morning always had a bad attitude. It’s the woman with the triple chin. The house in front the hotel makes noise all night. Don’t waste your money over here.Noteworthy details: Don’t stay here.

Got the room to sleep during the day. Brother passed away. I drove up here to identify his body. And make arrangements. Drove all night. Did my business. And needed get some sleep. An hour after a fell asleep the maintenance crew started hitting the wall on other side of my bed. I don't complain much. This really made me mad. I asked to be in a quiet room so I could sleep. Never ever again.

We just checked in and this is sketchy. We booked 2 rooms a couple months ago, which are on 2 different levels, in different parts of the building. The rooms smell. There are weird stains on the beds. Not even staying. We're just driving back home tonight.

Great for traveling with pets. Pet area with bags provided to clean up after them outside. Room had hard floors not carpet so that was preferable as well. We did have bed bugs in 158. First time ever. If I’d return, I definitely require that problem taken care of.

I don't think I can say anything good about this motel. The overall building needs a good paint job, looks very shabby. The room was clean, but quite sparse with furnishings, and for the price of $128.00 per night, definitely not worth it. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, very hard. There wasn't any lock on the outside door, anyone could have entered the building, and the parking area was very poorly lit. But the big complaint is that they built this motel right by a train track and I kid you not, the damn train was going by quite a few times. If you were lucky to finally fall asleep, a damn train would go by and wake you up. I would NOT recommend this motel to anyone.
