“This is a the simple quaint all around great Wisconsin getaway. Great food, a real bar with friendly staff. Faith was such a sweetheart, Keegan was our server and on top of it. Beautiful lake and sandy beach. And the cute painted turtles swimming along side of you was exciting. Cant say enough about the convenience of the caddy shack bar on the beach. The roaming peacock add just a special touch of humor. A must try! CALL WANDA AND BOOK! She likes red wine! ?”

“Stayed here for a golf trip and had an awesome time. Mae and Mark were amazing hosts. Mae helped coordinate our entire golf package (tee times and all for a group of 16) and helped us to coordinate the shuttle one day.
The motel was exactly what we needed and made for the perfect place to hang out at the end of the day. Tim’s Hardware Store is an awesome bar, and we made some of the best memories from the trip there.
Would highly recommend Acorn to anyone planning a golf trip or just looking for a great place to stay with great people running it.”
