Be extremely careful in your meat purchases, we had to throw out our pork chops and a pork steak 2 days after purchasing due to spoiling.

Grocery prices are up everywhere, but watching the specials, and sales will save you money. Make sure to apply for your Piggly Wiggly card to get the sale prices. Friendly people working there.

I find unusual things here that I don't find at other local grocery stores - things that I normally would have to travel to the city for, or have shipped online. The owners also own the store in Randolph, and that community's Hollander influence means there's even more off-the-beaten-path things to buy there, like the really good kind of Dutch windmill cookies and stroop wafels. Excellent selection and quality of produce - great bakery and deli items, too.
