This bank is a privately owned bank they run a little bit different, I used them since I was 12 years old all the way till I was 27 my job accidentally sent me a check dated two days ahead, the banks vice president told me I could cash it my company told me I could cash it, that day I had tried already once I didn’t notice the date and that’s what got caught up. I tried a second time under the advisement from everybody else. Some branch manager calls me and starts chewing out and telling me I’ve committed fraud. I was a little heated when they tried to cancel the check and I would have to get a new one. Like I’ll just wait for two days, but I was a little impatient and I was a little mad at the time. I called him the C word, in response for exercising my first amendment, which is what this review is all about you canceled my account. I’ve been doing business with you for almost 15 years and you canceled my account over a profanity. I will never send business your way. I won’t be recommending you for any awards on top of that anytime I see that specific guy because he used to live at the end of the street from me. I will call him the C word.

Went to try to open an account and didn't want to work with us at all. Branch manager even confirmed that a lot of the details on the website are inaccurate. She even seemed surprised as to how thoroughly i researched their products and accounts. Also if you need change they want you to have an account there just to make change. If you are just moving back into town and trying to get back on your feet don't try Johnson bank. If you just get granted your place and you rent you best have something with that brand new address and a state ID for whatever state the bank is in because they won't take an out of state ID. These are just a few issues we ran into besides them expecting miracles. I am currently searching other places that is willing to work with a family getting back on their feet.

Pros: Home grown/local bank. Cons: Disjointed services; they offer banking, insurance, mortgage but all are disconnected and difficult to use. Rates are higher than competitors. Overall: Too many good regional or national options with better rates and equal or better service to recommend.

The Johnson bank is a small bank located at the headquarters of the Johnson Family. The bank itself is small but very tranquil and their is a small running water display with a original glass sculpture hanging above it. The staff are quite friendly and over all it's a nice place to do business for the more high end clients .
