When I tell you the energy in that place is beyond anything I’ve felt in my life. This may be the only time I went into a store and from the moment I walked in felt I wasn’t supposed to be there. Not 1 employee spoke not even the cashier! Felt like I walked into the get out movie! While standing in line someone walked up and finally spoke and said we can take you over here but the thing was there was only 1 person in front of me and they took me to the other side of the store. The time it took to buy my items and get out of there the person in front of me was already gone. To feel like that in 2024!?! Never again!

I love going here as they have beautiful plants and home goods. The reason for 3 stars? Customer service remains poor at best. In home goods area, workers standing around doing nothing. Do you think 1 of them could greet me?I did see that they greeted people who "looked" the part. I made a comment out loud that at least they could greet us. They don't even have to ask if they can help us.The manager overheard me and sputtered something. But I was over it and I took my items and went to the checkout.Really Milaegers, try harder to greet people and ask if they need assistance. It is not that hard.

I’m disputing their transparency for customer rewards. While their system is up and running to accept credit cards for purchases, it’s ‘down’ to accept accumulated rewards to discount the next purchase. That’s been the answer for a few weeks now. I’d appreciate much more transparency in telling the customer they can’t use the rewards until after the holidays because this seems the more likely explanation. Very disappointing.

I was lucky enough to attend their holiday fashion show at the Douglas Avenue store. It was a delightful afternoon of fashions, great door prizes, and good food! I highly recommend these events. The store looks beautiful all lit up for the holidays, and their home-grown poinsettias are gorgeous!

I love Milaegers, I always find something for my home. Yesterday the clerk was so nice and noticed that the table runner I was purchasing had a flaw. I was so thankful!!

For over 20 years I applied here and finally got a interview a month ago and was told that I would receive a call within 2 or 3 days no matter what but never came. At the interview they said all they had was grunt work and that the mowing team is full of returns and I said that's fine. Little do they know is how ingerrent they are. What I see a team take two days to do I can do by myself in one. And I reported this mowing team for attacking an elderly man working there and guess what. The old guy picks up the trash as the mowers play on their phone and chat all day. Sounds like a great company when this happens to you or your grandparents. Shop here then if you support this kind of behavior . I never felt this . Way to go Milegears as a local company and should feel bad about yourself . What a ripoff to your community

While the store itself has amazing flowers and products do not expect any help from the workers. I had to have another customer help me get a hanging basket. I wanted to ask questions about the globes in the front and another worker said she’d get me a manager, waited 15 minutes no one showed up. Asked another worker where to find S hooks and the said go by the bird feeders but again spent a good 10 minutes on my own to find them. I grabbed a shepherds hook that didn’t have a tag and the cashier expected me to go back and find a new one with a tag. This is why I shop on Amazon. I did not buy the hook.

They are more expensive, but have much healthier plants. The variety is great and there are unusual plants too. I do wish they had some smaller hanging plants that were cheaper.

One of those "if you know, you know" places. Simply the best game in the area for plants, flowers, shrubs etc. A little more pricey than most of the local competition admittedly, but what you pay for here is quality. Their plants are in the best shape you'll find anywhere. It's a massive place too, with an overwhelming amount of choice, you could spend hours looking around. If you spend hours here, the small cafeteria does a grand job of taming the hangries. They also have a large shop with everything from small gifts to garden furniture. Staff are super helpful too. Be prepared for this place to be busy.... The locals know! Usually long lines at the checkout, but these go quickly. All in all, you can't do a lot better for garden centers in the area. Well worth a visit.
