Sent my dash in for repair and manual mode didn't even work. Got it back manual mode doesn't even work so I started checking other things. After much time and searching swapping parts etc. I got a dash from the junk yard and manual mode works!!! So these guys didn't even fix it and now I have to pay to ship it back and they tried to get out of warranty too.

It's 1993 again, and I'm driving my new Lexus LS 400 off the showroom floor with a perfectly functioning speedometer!
No banging on the top of the dash to "...awaken the genies living in the speedometer and tachometer...". No quickly adding 45 miles an hour to the reading to get the actual speed. No risking buying a junk yard replacement.
Thanks to Tanin for risking the repair of a 32 year-old (built in August 1992), highly sophisticated and delicate instrument cluster. The repair was completed quickly, but had to be sent back because of UPS damage in shipping. Recommend buying the $500 suggested shipping insurance for $15--more thank got my money back on that risk.
Tanin stuck with it, and repaired the entire unit again. This time, no shipping damage and, best of all, it's 1993 again!

Ordered replacement stepper motors for my C1500 Chevy. Great price, fast shipping, well packaged, genuine product - my instrument panel now works like new. (So glad I ordered from Tanin instead of buying cheap Chinese knock-offs from Amazon) THANK YOU.

We came across Tanin Auto Electronix when looking for options for repairing and older Tacoma instrument cluster for a P0500 code. Tanin Auto Electronix seemed like a good company and a good choice for us to use as they appeared to be very knowledgeable about this issue. The cost of the repair & shipping seemed reasonable as well. So far no check engine light for P0500! Customer is happy.

2006 Toyota Tacoma (looks like new 84k miles) with the P0500 code. 2 different repair shops ( Toyota dealership was one)said I needed a new instrument cluster. Supposedly I’ve had one on back order for over a year, then I came across Tanin Electronix. I was very nervous about sending my cluster off because they are basically irreplaceable. I sent to them and had it back in less than two weeks and it works perfectly. Thanks guys.

Pretty poor experience. Lots of extremely poor communication. My cluster arrived back to me with the original speedometer issue fixed, but with damaged lighting. The cluster was slightly damaged in shipping - either due to insane mishandling by the shipper or being improperly packed by myself. Whether that damage to the lighting was done by my packing or Tanin - I will never know.
The cluster took nearly a month to return - a timeframe that I think would have been stretched further if I had not of called Tanin frequently to poke them on the job. It seemed that every time I called to inquire on the cluster, I was met with “Oh! We were just preparing to call you.” For quick summary - I was initially contacted upon Tanin’s receipt of the cluster, with a note to contact them for “further information required to continue”. I called and emailed over the course of a few days, with no response. When I eventually received a response, I was told of the damage that occurred during shipping - and that they would begin working on the cluster.
I was notified of the total for repairing “everything”. There was no issue with the lighting before I shipped it. Again, this could have been damaged during shipping, but I don’t know. I was quoted an amount massively higher than my initial estimate. I requested a quote for “Just the issue it was sent in for”
It took a few business days, then I called back, and the quote was ready as if they had just been waiting on me to call. I approved the repairs and waited for an invoice.
The invoice was sent over. I had returned parts to Tanin that I mistakenly purchased. I was under the impression their used speedometer stepper motor came with the matching motherboard along with it. Before sending the cluster in, I was told that as long as the part was OK, I would get credited back the ~$120 for it.
I never got this credit - and the answer as to why was so vague. That, along with the fact that I just desperately needed this cluster back to get this car mobile, led me to just sheepishly paying the invoice for the cluster.
I’m nearly $400 into this cluster with Tanin, and do not think it is near worth the service I was provided.
At the end of the day - my cluster arrived back with the original issue repaired, and, Tanin repaired the damage that occurred during shipping (a crack in the outer rear housing) for no charge, without notifying me, which was nice.
But, the poor communication, and lack of credit on the part I was told I should receive some credit for, leads to me not being able to recommend Tanin for anything.
I will definitely search further in the future when I need some similar repair done, and will not recommend Tanin to anyone. This could have been handled better.

I was a little skeptical about ordering a screen for my Goldwing until I read all of the reviews about Tanin. I ordered the screen and it was the same exact screen as the original. I can now read my screen again for a fraction of the price Hond wanted. If you need a screen I highly recommend Tanin Auto Electronics. Thank you so much!

I was looking for a replacement LCD screen for my 2009 Honda Goldwing GL1800. I had a few questions and sent a e-mail. Within one day I had a response from Josh in customer service. He assured me that this will work with my bike. I have seen the stories of the white screens and damage that can be caused. I did hold my breath when I turned on the key but everything worked. I’m very happy with the service and products Tanin Auto Electronic. Brad
