Our puupy got ran over by our farm truck on a Sunday morning. She had life-threatening internal injuries, two broken hips, and her pelvis was broken in two places. We called Kolby at Marshview clinic and he and his wife, Jackie, met us at the clinic. In less than in hour they evaluated her and later that day they did emeregeny surgery to repair her internl injuries. We are so grateful for their care of Rose their and their compassion and consideration of our our attachment to Rose during this time. They have kept us informed of her condition and included us on all decisions in her care plan. She will be staying with them until she has another surgery to repair her broken bones. I highly recommend them if your pet needs care.

Dr McIntyre and his team provided phenomenal care to both of our dogs, one who needed a TPLO surgery with an incoming ortho surgeon and one who needed emergency surgery to remove a foreign object. Dr McIntyre was informative, friendly, patient, and understanding. Highly recommend this clinic to anyone searching for support with CCL tears and really any care for their animal. Their compassion is unmatched.

I called yesterday at approx. 2:45 regarding my dog who started projectile vomiting and bleeding from her rectum. Since the clinic was open until 5:00 and I've been a client for over a decade, I certainly thought they'd find a time to see her. Nope! Hookstead said no! Perhaps if another vet was on duty they would have accommodated me in this stressful situation.
Wanted to give me numbers for emergency vets in Madison. Found a caring, compassionate clinic in Beaver Dam that saw her today, took blood, gave her a shot for her fever, antibiotics and something for the vomiting! Needless to say, I've changed clinics. If my pet's well being means so little to you, I'm out!
Even more disheartening is when I see non-clients as well as clients post how they got their pet in when it was an emergency! Glad their pet was taken care of, but picking and choosing is no way to run a business. Very unprofessional!

My parents have taken their fur babies here since 2012. I am absolutely appalled when my Mother told me on Friday she reached out to her vet in the afternoon, hours before closing time for a dog who is a patient there at Marsh View (or was a patient until this incident), Dr. Hookstead REFUSED to see her and help the dog. She was projectile vomiting and bleeding from her rectum. Nope! Gave my elderly Mother (who is a widow by the way with a 130 lb Rottweiler) numbers for other vets further away and was like "Good Luck". Thankfully, I didn't get the same vibe my parents did and go elsewhere with my Giant Breed Mastiffs. Fortunately enough, I called where I go, explained the situation and Dr. Jackie actually stayed later just to see the dog, a new patient, but understood the dog was in distress. I will forever be grateful for that vet, who went ABOVE and BEYOND for a dog that wasn't even a current patient but has since become one. However, I see from other reviews they must pick and choose who gets preferential treatment vs who they don't give a rip about. Sad....!
I'm actually disappointed that this is the preferred vet for Dodge County Humane society. As someone who supports the humane society and adopts their pets from there, I am a bit perplexed at the behavior of this vet.

Our golden retriever had pyometra and she was knocking on death door steps. . There was no place around to do an actual emergency surgery. Other Places were booked weeks out for an emergency surgery.
I called this place and they took her right away and was ready to save our member of our family, and they did!
The veterinarian & staff was amazing. They walked me through the process and kept in touch every day how our dogs progress was.
We thought we never see our dog again and they did all that they could and went above and beyond for saving her. If it wasn't for this place, our kid wouldn't still have his best friend.
The prices were not bad especially for all that they did, which was a lot. They are reasonable priced & honest. Which is definitely hard to find places like that now a days.
Thanks again
Ps. Chloé is definitely outta the woods ♡

Dear Marsh View Veterinary Team and Dr. Kolby, Thank you very much for seeing us this morning on short notice (Monday morning), Duke came in with kennel cough + a respiratory infection and a 104.5 fever. By late afternoon his temperature was down to 101.5 and he was looking and acting much better. I will monitor him closely and look forward to working with you in the future. Thank you, Leah Derus

We have been going to this vet clinic for many years. Throughout this time we have had many dogs and cats. We've had to bring them in for all kinds of reasons and they have always been so kind and explained everything really well, including our options. They listen carefully and don't rush through the appointments. In the past 1-1/2 years we have had to euthanize three of our elderly pets. Several weeks ago we had to take my special little dog in to be euthanized. The entire staff was so compassionate. Their hugs and kind words meant so much to me. We've tried different vet clinics before them but they are by far the best we have found. I highly recommend them.

Our dog was dying from cancer, and Marsh View was the only clinic within an hour radius of our house that was able to give us an appointment for euthanasia within 48 hours, outside of an emergency vet. We had never even been to this clinic before, but the staff was kind and respectful, professional and comforting. Dr. Hookstead explained every step of the process along the way, and gave us as much time as we needed with our girl. We are happy to recommend Marsh View to anyone, and will be happy to return with our other dogs in the future. Thank you, Dr. Jeff.
