“As the gateway to the Northwoods, Rhinelander is a pretty important place. Thankfully, Rhinelander is represented locally by the fine gals of the Rhinelander Area Chamber of Commerce.

With my 4 years of experience in the area, I can say that they have done an amazing job of both promoting the region, and adding value to both members and residents of the community. I cannot say enough about how impactful the Leadership Oneida County Program has been in my life, and many others.

It is fair to say that my life as a resident in the Northwoods is substantially better thanks specifically to the Rhinelander Area Chamber of Commerce.”

“This scout camp is great. I’ve only been here once and I like it a lot. I went here on a week one it was just OK. It rained for a few days, but there were some mosquitoes but that’s normal for camping. The staff is really friendly and nice. Very beautiful area. It is a little pricey, though as our most scout camps. (that I’ve went to at least) it is pricey, but you get a lot of bang for your back and if you’re ever going here, you should probably get the souvenir mug. You can get refills for a pretty cheap and you can keep it and take it home as a souvenir. You can also attach to backpacks if you have a carabiner good selection of knives for not a lot of money and also this is just a very enjoyable camp and I want to come here again. The order of the arrow fire isn’t as good as it is at Mika Jeanne, but it still pretty nice for a scout summer camp”

“I love working out at the YMCA in Rhinelander. It is a very clean facility with a huge variety of workout equipment. The sauna is always hot and amazing. My only suggestion would be to upgrade the smith machine so it goes closer to the ground. It is necessary for RDLs, deadlifts and hip thrusts and so I need to utilize another gym to get these exercises in. Would also love if padding could be replaced on some equipment, if it is possible. I will keep hoping!”

“The BEST food pantry in the Northwoods! Everyone is so friendly and helpful. All of the food we receive is great and helps our family so much. They go above and beyond to make sure you feel welcome and that you get plenty of fresh produce, canned goods, breads, dairy, and meat. ❤️”
