Seriously not good service. I took my Honda Fit in for an oil change and it ended up costing me $98. The mechanic found a mouse nest in the air filter (it happens in the northland), so the service technician came over to ask me if I wanted to buy another air filter. I said no and asked him to just remove the nest and use a shop vacuumed to it (2 minute fix). Rather than accept my reply and agree to such a simple fix, he said he'd have to charge me for half an hour service to do so. What?! So I went back to see for myself and ask the mechanic to remove the nest. I asked the mechanic if I could borrow their shop vacuumed and he assured me he'd take care of it, then glared at the service tech in disgust. I had also asked for a tire rotation when I arrived since it had been 50k miles since I bought new tires from them. Come to find out, they charged me to rotate them. What?! I won't be back.

On July 10 brought in our Honda CRV for tire rotation, oil change, and to install a roof rack. It had to remain overnight because the staff - who were very courteous and professional - said we needed to replace two seatbelts due to a recall and they said they didn't have all the materials/parts on the 10th to change them out.The next day, July 11, we received a call saying there was a small crack in the windshield and they asked if we had noticed it before. This was an odd question as prior to doing the tire rotation, oil change, and installing the roof rack, they did an inspection and noted no damage on the exterior of the car. We were surprised about the crack as the car had been in a secure garage for the previous 10 months while we were deployed overseas. The staff said they would investigate and called prior to closing and it was decided we would pick up the car on Wednesday, July 12.On July 12, the staff showed us the crack and we immediately knew that it was new since it was about 8 inches in length and directly in the driver's field of vision. We also noticed that the crack terminated at the windshield molding where there was a very noticeable dent. To us, it appeared that the dent was likely made by a tool or some sort which likely hit the molding and also cracked the windshield. The service manager posited that it could have been made by debris from the storm the previous evening when the car was outside, though no other cars appeared to have any such damage and there was no debris on the ground suggesting as such. They said she checked with the mechanic and they assured them that they were very careful during the installation of the roof rack and did not remember anything specific happening that could have caused it. To the service manager's credit, they took responsibility for the windshield and had it replaced on July 17.However the matter of the damaged windshield frame remains. Our insurance company estimates the cost of the damage to be $264.77 - that cost may not include removing and re-installing the roof rack in order to replace it. I reached out to the dealership manager and the Kocourek VP with the text above and have not received any response. Not sure if they are trying to cut costs or corners, but their service definitely gives one pause.

The service department of this dealership is a JOKE! My mother bought a 2017 Honda Ridgeline from this dealership less than a month ago. She came to visits and after a weekend of the truck being parked there was a substantial stain on my driveway under the rear differential. Additionally there was the clear smell of antifreeze coming from under the hood. I am very well versed in vehicle maintenance and repair so I checked it out. It took me all of 30 seconds to find that the differential drain plug was loose just using my fingers! I decided to drain the fluid to see what was left... 1.25 qts of the required 3 qts! I bought 3k qts of new fluid from the local Honda dealer and filled it back up torquing the drain and fill plugs to the required 35 ft lbs. The crush washer was also not changed out which is an obvious requirement when changing the fluid. Next I looked under the hood to find the source of the antifreeze smell. I quickly found that there was an obvious leak from the cap or upper plastic radiator tank. The overflow was empty but radiator completely full. Now when my mom bought this vehicle from the dealer it made a howl that got louder as the speed increased. The dealer told my mother that this was due to the tires and discounted the price 500.00 as an allowance. Once I found this issue with the differential it made me wonder if the true source of the noise was the bearings in the differential due to a lack of fluid. She then made an appointment to take it back to the dealer to have it looked at. Not only did this dealer not apologize for the inconvenience and obvious ineptitude of their repair technician, they refused to even look at, or test drive, the truck! No offer to reimburse for the fluid purchased, NOTHING! They even stated that 1.25 qts of differential fluid was plenty to ensure the bearings were lubricated!!! They went on to say that it is common to have the cap of a radiator to leak because "it's been cold"... WHAT?! I loved the idea of my mom owning a Honda and having a local Honda dealer to service it, but I would not let this dealer change the oil in my lawn mower. Mistakes happen, but it is how you own your mistake that says everything about the integrity of the business. When asked if they did any maintenance to the vehicle prior to sale my mother was told no. That was quickly proven to be a blatant lie by reviewing the CarFax! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Awesome service department! No appt this a.m. but they brought me in right away and dealt with a troubling noise issue. Turned out to be a minor fix, happy with that. Third visit here and very impressed with how they handle their customers!

Last Tuesday, I drove over 70 miles one way to RHI Honda as closest dealership, to get stickey lock fixed. Turned out it was a faulty actuator and a key cylinder cable. Intake technician said they would have to order parts and that there was a backlog. She stated eventually that the whole car could lock up and not open, but should be ok for awhile. She stated if that happens the door would have to be broken to get in, due to special stuff Honda has for security system. I asked if a locksmith could get it open, she said no, as well as anything else. The car had up to that point could be opened with the key. On Friday, at a store 70 miles away, daydreaming and out of habit forgot and locked car with fob, car wouldn't open even with key. To make matters worse, purse inside with money, cc, phone etc. Store attendant phone not working so she closed store and drove me around to find someone to help. Went to best mechanic in town, and when I told him my sad tale of woe and what Honda dealership told me, he sort of looked at me like I was the village idiot, but he did feel sorry for me and agreed to try to get my car open. Anyway, the slim Jim didn't work and the mechanic couldn't get in driver's side, but got into passenger's side very easily using standard door wedge and pneumatic rubber air bag slid in door frame and a metal rod to push open door lock. Your basic get into locked car routine (I learned later)-- nothing special. Had I known this I could have used AAA where I get three free lockouts a year. Anyway, I was out additional money for the owner and head mechanic to get my car open-- a not so happy guy either after he got in and all the stuff I related to him from Honda dealership was simply not true. So I sent an email to Honda asking if anyway the back ordered parts could be speeded up. Well lo and behold they were in, but by that time too late, and they were closed Sat. & Sun., and I had out of town visitors and oral surgery so couldn't make it till Wednesday. I told the technician when I got there how disappointed I was in the inaccurate information she gave me and the consequent problems it caused. She tried to backtrack and tried to change her comments. I told her I wanted to speak to the manager about the situation. Later she said the service manager was waiting to speak to me. So I repeated the story and he totally concurred with the intake technician's initial remarks. He stated their normal procedure with a locked car is that they use a wrecker to haul the car into their garage and and take off the panel to get the car unlocked. ( And how much extra does that cost?). I stated I googled how to get into locked car and what the local mechanic did to unlock my car is pretty standard procedure, and had I known that my AAA could've got it open and saved me stress and money. The Mgr said he didn't know this and when I described the procedure he appeared totally baffled and that he learned something new from me. I stated just google it. He further stated that they don't teach this at Honda school. I further stated per google that a thief can get into a locked Honda in 12 seconds. I don't know if this Mgr was just patronizing me, or protecting the take-in technician, or just your standard MCP. Being female and now a senior, I've been dealing with these types for decades. I could write a book of the rip-offs, I've encountered. I avoided dealerships for year's due overpriced but switched back when living in a big city as I found a trustworthy Toyota one when I owned a Toyota.. In any event, this was not a cheap repair: $1,047.43 plus the money I paid to local mechanic and store worker to offset her expenses and time helping me. The price from Kocourek Honda is well above all national averages according to the internet.

Was treated very rudely by the sales manager. He came to us in a fit of rage and angrily explained why he can't give any discounts on used cars. When the salesman tried to explain what discount we were asking for the sales manager completely shut him down. He just wanted to get rid of us apparently. We came in ready to buy a used car. We left knowing it will not come from this dealership.

No customer service. Made an appointment to look at specific trucks, called and confirmed again, before leaving as left work early and was over an hour drive to get there and be told all three were sold. Played the let me check the database and see if they had anything else game...when I got frustrated and left, salesman comes out to my car to tell me, "Checked with my boss, guess we have one of the trucks you came to see, now available..." ???? Really, no thanks I'll go someplace else... No interested in giving them my money, which would have been a cash sale....
