Be advised that if your carrier delivers a package to wrong address and posted as delivered they are not responsible for reimbursement. Been dealing with post office for 3 weeks. Tracking shows them exactly where they delivered but I was told that maybe the merchant or my bank can give me the money back. No responsibility on their end!!!!!

I have been using the Rhinelander post office for many years and have ALWAYS been treated kindly and with respect. I don't understand the poor reviews about that. Funny how people can get such different experiences. You get what you project.

Very clean and well maintained. Easy to navigate the parking lot. The self service machine is great and easy to use.

USPS needs to stick to delivering ONLY mail and NO PACKAGES!! They had my package and seemed to have a problem with the address. Instead of calling me ( they had my number)to solve the problem they chose to simply return my order to sender. What a fraud organization the postal service has become!! Stick to mail only and let Amazon deliver packages. At least they get things delivered!!!🤬🤬🤬

Live within walking distance. Have a walking Mail Person. Packages mailed to us come to Post Office to be delivered that day. They don't. Last one was here & they mailed it out to some other Post Office in a different County. Had to look it up. Still trying to find my package.

The workers here are incredibly rude. I accidentally had a prepaid package fall beside the cart, and I couldn’t pick it up because it was behind a half wall. I asked one of the workers if he could put it in the basket before I left, just so I was sure it wasn’t forgotten, and he said “I LITERALLY just said I’d do it”. I’m sorry, but that package was a custom order for my business, and I wasn’t leaving before I saw it was picked up. I guess this is what I get for going to a postal location that’s not my normal location. I ship thousands of packages a year, and the Eagle River PO never treats me with such rudeness.

I no longer live with my parents in Rhinelander, but I do come back to stay with them for extended periods of time. I live in Colorado. I ordered 2 things for my daughter for her birthday to arrive at my parents address in my name and they have been sent back to the seller so not only do I lose the money for shipping, but her birthday presents will not be there waiting for her. I am traveling there in 2 days and there may not be enough time for me to reorder her gifts to be delivered to me in Colorado so that I can instead bring them on the airplane. I was trying to avoid needing to bring them with me on the airplane. Is it really that difficult? I paid for these things to go to me at my parents house in Rhinelander. Your system says I don't live there. I suppose you would also send them back if I was staying at a hotel. They refuse to deliver them and instead sent them back to the seller. Lee was not helpful. I don't recommend USPS. UPS and FedEx work just fine. I'll make sure to complain in person when I get there. I clearly meant for it to go to that address and I paid for it to go to that address. What you exemplify is poor customer service and maybe you think you aren't accountable to any one being a government organization and that this is ok. It's not and the idea of defunding the USPS is gaining popularity even more year after year. I will vote for that to happen.

Never will there be a more useless corporation to exist on the planet earth and I'm convinced. if the package is to big they calculated that the road I'm down is .6 miles and it's not a driveway just a private road where many people live and they refuse to deliver to me, unless it's the substitute person they are okay, but whoever is my actual mail carrier sucks and my whole life wherever I've lived, I've just always had problems with these people, they hate their lives and make everyone around them pay for it by being a pain to the world around them.. they only can deliver me stuff I don't want like the newspaper or ads so I really don't understand why you can't deliver something I actually want. I'll pay you the 16 cents it costs to comes down my driveway and deliver it.. I like the fact that you calculated that it was .1 of mile to far so now you don't have to do it. All in all I'm sad every time is see that USPS is delivering my items, because I know for certain they will do everything in their power to make it not happen. I hate the we missed you slips because it's a slap in the face because every time he puts that it's too far, thanks for reminding me every time...

These comments are quite hilarious. The Rhinelander post office does not lose your mail. USPS made the decision to ship your mail to Green Bay for sorting. Used to be here then changed to Wausau. Who knows where incoming mail gets sorted. Everyone at counter is friendly to me and postmaster is very helpful. I would suspect some of you are idiots. Karen’s as they say.
