The ladies at the customer service desk are always very rude to deal with. I’ll drive extra to go the next town with menards so I don’t have to deal with them anymore. Dirty looks, speak rude, snappy. My day gets ruined every time I have to deal with them. I have half the notion to stop shopping at menards all together.

I asked in Store to help me get my Rebate. They refused. They said I had to contact the Rebate center so much for being helpful. I guess I'll turn it over to an attorney.

Very upsetting we needed two rolls of the same carpet for our living room bought them at Sametime. He told us pick up out back .Get home it's time to put down carpet we wanted in first roll 6 inches short we measured OK we we just figure it out ,nope the other carpet was a whole different carpet .We had to borrow a truck to get this .Now we can't just return it with out it being a big problem. Definitely not happy !!!Rice Lake Menards you could do alot better

Drove an hour after calling to make sure they had 16ft. Roofing in stock. I was told by the desk they had 28 sheets. Drove down only to find out they only had 10, 7 of which were damaged beyond repair. The manager I assume behind the construction desk offered no solution or substitution other than color with not so much as a sorry for your inconvenience. You would think being a staple in the community they would hire qualified management. So after the whole ordeal in rice lake I called superior menards. Roofing was in stock and yard workers even helped me load them. Maybe the rice lake management team should take a road trip to superior to see how a store is run with quality managers in place they could probably learn what costumer service should be like.

Check in at the guard shack at the right side of the building. He’ll direct you to park in a specific area in the back. There’s lines for the trucks to park in for the off loading process. Quick and easy

I really really wanted to love this place - they are the only hardware store in town and also a locally owned chain. Here are a few reasons why I can't; keep in mind that the store is a 45-minute round trip from our place:- Went to Menard's to purchase all items for a bathroom remodel. We ordered a custom shower door, vanity, and top. At the time we told the associate that we're excited about this remodel etc, so they knew it was all for the same project. When we received the custom order, the top did not fit on the vanity! When I called to ask about a return, they assumed no responsibility and wanted to charge me a hefty restock fee. (I found a guy who cut down the top so it would fit - if Menard's does this to you, reach out and I'll provide contact info)- Was in the middle of a project when we discovered that the manufacturer had sent us an incorrect bolt. We needed to finish the project so we headed to Menard's for a replacement. Found the person who worked in the department, handed him the bolt we were trying to match, and asked for his help. He went to some kind of thing where you screw the bolt into it and it's supposed to tell you what it is; he tested it and very confidently selected a matching bolt for us. Guess what - when we got home it was the wrong bolt!- Many times when I would go there to purchase something, I would look for the person in the department and ask for their assistance. With very few exceptions, the employee in question knew less than I did about the product. After a few times where I ended up wandering around the store with them or being referred to their app when I asked about location, I stopped even trying.They have a nice selection but you better know EXACTLY what you want and make sure it's appropriate for your application BEFORE setting foot in there. They take "know before you go" to a whole new level and it's not a good one.Would I recommend? Nope nope nope if there are ANY other optionsWould I return? Against my will, because they're the only game in town Service Dog score: C because I've seen pets in there even though the sign prohibits them; service dog handlers do not like to be surprised by pets

I was traveling through rice lake and stopped here for some things. After leaving and arriving home (over an hours drive), I had realized the cashier never put one of the bags back into the cart. I understand that mistakes happen. I called the store asking if they still had it. They did. I asked if I could have the credit for the items transferred to a closer store to me or a refund, but since I used my payroll, apparently neither was an option because of “store policy”. That left me with two options, drive there and back, wasting my time and gas or eating the cost because of someone else’s negligence. That policy is a big fat joke and I will not be shopping at any other Menards stores that are not local to me. Biggest waste of time and money.

One major problem here is that they only have 2 power mobility shopping scooters. .... and those are in very bad mechanical condition. Sometimes they function, but, most of the time they stop while using it.

Employees constantly sit in one of the two toilet stalls playing on their phones for 15+ minutes at a time. Really awesome when customers are down to only one toilet!!Also, you're a dang building supply store, how hard is it to put a divider between the two urinals you have?? Nobody wants to get splashed or peripherally see the guy next door shaking it.Your bathroom is an embarrassment and is so small I'd expect it in a harbor freight or small pet store, not a giant building!

Usually has the items we need. Friendly staff. Parking can be chaotic if people aren't paying attention. Bathrooms are not always the cleanest. Prices are a bit high, I get it inflation. Still cringe at the price. The sales pricing aren't even enough.
