The most difficult place to pay a loan though. Trying to add a debit card to pay and it asks for my bank username and password. Try to Pay Loan With Non-Royal Account and the debit card as an extremely high $10 service fee. Then declines it. Can't even schedule a payment to pay earlier than the deadline so you will accumulate more interest.

45 minutes on hold only to be hung up on. Then ignored for the rest of the day. No answers come walking into the lobby and all you hear is a phone ringing with four people at the counter no one answering a phone. Definitely not a bank I will do business with.

I was interested in applying for a mortgage with this bank as I switched to them a few months back and thought it would be easier, this process has been absolutely horrible. I put in my application for pre approval through the app 2 weeks ago, and have not received even one phone call from the company, just occasionally getting an email from my loan officer requesting more information from me for the underwriters despite leaving multiple voicemails and emails asking for updates., and wanting to talk about things on the phone instead of email. It has now been 4 days since I have received any correspondence on the status of my application or anything. I’m upset. When it took longer than a week I was smart enough to decide to shop around at another bank and they had this process done with all the same information in 2 days and then reached out to me to talk about everything. I understand this bank is larger, they may be a lot busier, but why not give me ANY kind of update that they are working on it or that it’s at least being looked at. I do not feel important to this bank and even when they respond to me finally, I will most likely be going to a competitor for my mortgage needs.

If you go into the building you don't have to wait too long. If you go to the drive thru prepare for up to a 30 minute wait.

I went in to turn in some change last Friday. All I know is it felt really strange walking in there without my mask on. I said something to the greeter and he totally agreed with me. It's a good credit union and they're good people that work there. And I'm very happy the lobbies open again!

I’ve only banked a couple other places in my life but I’m happy to say that I’ve been an RCU member for over a decade and I intend to be a member for the remainder of my life. The staff is beyond friendly and knowledgeable.

Poor customer service, poor communication, very long wait times for phone calls. You get what you pay for and this is a cheap credit union.
