Got a duplicate item donated to us at our baby shower. Went to return it at the store and was denied since we didn't have a receipt and the item was online purchase. Called the number and the employee wouldn't do a return since we didn't have a PO number. I explained we only wanted in store credit and we didn't have a receipt. We also didn't want to insult anyone in our family by asking for a receipt for the baby monitor. Plus both parties live out of town. After talking to the person online he wouldn't do a return and I asked for a supervisor. He said they will only say the same thing and I replied I will wait to talk to the supervisor. After 5 minutes on hold the employee offered me a $20 gift card. I declined since the product is on sale for 45.99 before tax. I said I wanted to talk to the supervisor again and he put me on hold. After a brief wait he said his supervisor was in a meeting and couldn't take my call. I said I'll be doing reviews and emails about the poor customer service I have received today and that he was just wasting my time.

I’d prefer to give you a negative star rating. Only wish I could. Tristan, Walmart phone salesman, lied about many things. Ok, he’s new, but I was asking him basic simple questions. Lol, like can I use my iPhone car charger to charge the android. He said, “ I think so. “ Cmon even I know that won’t work. I should’ve walked at that point. But time & money. Had no idea I’d be wasting so much time & money dealing with these heartless ruthless men. Asked him if I don’t like it can I return the Verizon phone to Ladysmith Walmart, it’s much closer? He said definitely yes. When asked how much my bill would be he said $70 a month. Within 7 days I received a bill for $126.00 and another for $94. A far cry from $70. that Tristan quoted. In less than 2 weeks, I got 2 bills, the phone I bought, an android, $160., reception was spotty in Hawkins. Phone was hot after the first few hours of charging. So another 2-1/2 drive awaits me. Drove to Ladysmith where there were 4 guys standing around, no customers in store shopping, & Jeremy the manager, was there. They said I had to return the phone to Ladysmith. It’s 45 minutes from Hawkins to Ladysmith another 45 minutes to rice lake. So I drive up to rice lake. Much bigger store, where I returned it. Then I went to AT&T afterwards, phones are a necessity. No misrepresentation there. Got a google phone, drove back home with an AT&T provider phone. Absolutely no reception. I had to drive all the way back up to Rice Lake again returned the AT&T phone. Another 2-1/2 hours and gas & returned it. Went to rice lake Walmart again, bought a trac phone, Tristan was the only one there. Double the size of the Ladysmith store. He did tell me he was unable to activate it for me. But he let me walk out the store without buying a card to activate it. Figured I could stop on the way home, pick up a card in Ladysmith. I knew the manager Jeremy was at Ladysmith Walmart phone center. I did realize I needed a card. Thanks again Tristan, Bought the card in Ladysmith, sked if they could help me initialize it, I had just moved here from Illinois. There was no one in the store shopping at the phone center. Four sales people were there. They were doing nothing but watching me. I was told they could not help me with the phone it was against corporate policy. Even though the directions in the TracFone said to stop at the kiosk in Walmart and they will help activate it. I begged them to help because I know no one here to impose on to use their phone & help set up the new TracFone. Questioning them, should I go to the police department or the fire department and have them help me? Oh they were told not to help the customer with trac phones, corporate policy. Guess because they make no commission. They all seemed to be enjoying leaving me stranded. Staring at me, like they were the phone gurus. So I left the store after I bought my card. I went across the street to the actual Verizon store. Where I met Packer. He set my phone up for me. He was so sweet and knowledgeable and kind hearted. I needed my medication and I was unable to call my doctor to get my medicine. But Walmart phone employees could care less about their customers. Commission is more important than people. My closing statement, please don’t buy anything from the phone department at the Walmart stores. Horrible customer service. I suggest you go to the Verizon store in Ladysmith where Packer can help you with a heart and empathy and integrity & an enjoyable personality. He made no commission but he was a good man and cared. So he took his time out even with other customers in the store and helped set my phone up. Of course I’m buying accessories at that Verizon store on any of my future needs!!! Go to the Verizon store in Ladysmith. Packer, you are the real man. He is the go to guy for your new phones.

Took my car to the Walmart auto center to get tires put on it, And they jacked it on the rocker panels and dented them in 4 places, Nobody ever jacks a car on the rocker panels in a garage and most defiantly an older car, Did not see it till the next day, Thought they were acting kind of funny when i picked up my car and now i know why, took it back there told them, They took pictures filled out a complaint and it went off to some place in Kentucky for me to talk to, somebody who did not see anything or have anything to do with it but talk to me before asking the auto department at Walmart about it and they told him they didn't do it, so that is the way they do things at the Walmart, so i have a dented car because of the Walmart and they said they didn't do it, i can prove it and that is a fact positively for sure, But you can't prove anything talking to somebody on the phone in Kentucky and that is just what they are looking for because they have the decision and they ask the Walmart and they said they did not do it, All this after that the Walmart manager tells me to my face when i ask her that she knows they did it because she seen video of it and the automotive department tells me they wish they would buy them a new hoist i am nobody and they are the wonderful Walmart apparently The walmart has 1900 plus filed complaints at the BBB, Better Buisness Bureau

Make sure you check the dates on all produce. I don't think anybody comes to throw out the bad food. There have been times I buy produce only to find out the best by date was days before my purchase

I called the store 3 times before I could get the operator or store associate to answer the phone. On third try it rang 18 times. The first two times it just hung up. They sent me to tires and it rang a bunch of times and hung up on me again. I have to drive 60 miles each way to this store. Can't be counted to even answer the phone. How can I count on them to do a good job went they can't even a find the phone to answer it. I will have to look elsewhere....I still need tires.....easy to compete against Walmart....just have to answer the phone.

We went to this Walmart primarily to get some groceries for our group to make things to eat in our cabins where we are staying while fishing in Chetek this week. So we stocked up mainly on drinks and produce. I forgot how big Walmart's are inside. We also wandered over to their Sporting Goods department to see what they had for fishing gear, asking for directions along the way from helpful staff. Our group of six was soon scattered around the store and started texting so we could all meet up by checkout.

I have a friend who works at Walmart in Rice Lake in the liquor store which is a separate building. I am concerned for this person's safety. This person has called on the walkie talkie for security a number of times when there is a threatening customer inside the liquor store and there has been no response or very late response from management at this location. The person has "repeat" customers who appear emotionally unstable: sometimes threatening with harm; knocking over merchandise; and throwing things because they were told to wear a mask for service. The main building right next door has security but there is none at the liquor store because Walmart says its not required because they call it a "gas station"....yep, go figure??? Some kind of Walmart loophole that allows them to treat those employees differently in a negative way. From my perspective, Walmart does NOT really care about its employees who are now called "essential" by our government.
