1000% would recommend a stay here! It is set up Air BB style very private all rooms have own kitchen and separate living space from bedroom why pay the same to stay at a hotel that hasn't been updated since the 70s
Bed was so comfortable room was clean and ready to use. Don't get me started on all the grat food within walking distance and the coffee place across the street 10/10.
Will be posting a TicTok later about my stay where we ate ect.

Very nice hotel in the heart of Ripon WI clean modern room with great quality bedding and towels.
The self check in worked perfectly as described in the welcome email.

Staying at The Mapes Hotel was one of the best parts of the wedding weekend. Its proximity to Knuth Brewing Company (where the wedding was held) was crucial to the success of the event. We never had to stress about remembering everything as it was just a few steps next door to grab whatever you needed. Also close are the incredible breakfast sandwiches and lattes from Mugs and More.
The check in process was a millennials dream; no front desk, no having to engage with a human being. The key cards are easy to access, the suites have all you need and if not, there is an easy to locate supply closet. The suites were perfect for our needs and had plenty of space.
My only heads up (just a heads up, not a complaint) is you'll need to be self aware when staying here due to the windows and thin walls. The Knuth Brewing Company windows look directly into the hotel windows and yes, you can see into the bathrooms. Additionally, the walls are very thin. We heard a variety of interactions from a couple having a fight to another couple, well...having a great time.

My family hosted our first ever Christmas celebration not in a family members home this past weekend. We rented both the meeting rooms as well as 3 of the hotel apartments. Everything was decorated beautifully. The entire place is very, very clean, warm and inviting. The family raved about the experience and we had the best time. Thank you!

Wow - I would plan a long term stay in Ripon, WI for lots of reasons but the chance to pretend I live at the Mapes Hotel would be one. Terrific suite style room with a full kitchen and super comfortable bedroom. This lovely hotel has been superbly renovated to serve an impressive balance of historic character with modern amenities. Interesting unstaffed model for check-in but did get to exchange pleasantries with the folks turning rooms over in the morning. A very cozy and cheerful stay with great proximity to everything at the college and downtown.

Wow! Been coming to Ripon for over 30 years and this is the best place I've ever stayed. Perfect location. Beautiful rooms, fair price. I didn't want to leave. Very well done. I hope to be back again soon!

Absolutely lovely hotel! Room was clean and very well stocked. Bed was comfortable. Sheets and towels were clean and nice. The check-in was easy peasy - just follow the email instructions. Looking forward to staying again!

Don't tell anyone but this is a lovely little gem in downtown Ripon. We visited for an anniversary get away. Reservations and check in were smooth! Easier than a standard hotel and no cleaning fee like home rentals. Easy to walk downtown and enjoy the quaint shops and restaurants. We'll be back.

I had an exceptionally positive experience. As a self-proclaimed clean freak person, I was thrilled with the impeccable cleanliness of the room and common areas - it felt like "home". Also, the digital experience was good as it saved me time and effort. I look forward to staying here again! Thank you for maintaining such hight standards.

I was pleasantly surprised to find this hotel just steps from all of the great things Ripon has to offer. I stayed in Rm 305 with a nice view of Ripon College. The room is a suite with a good sized living room and a full kitchen with plenty of cups/dishes etc. The bathroom is nicely done with a large walk in shower. Bedroom had a very comfortable king bed.
I was a bit concerned about the fact that there is no staff on-site but the check in process was very easy and located at the entrance near the convenient parking lot behind the hotel. I would definitely suggest a visit and will plan to stay here again.

Excellent property! Newly renovated, very clean with nice furnishings. Centrally located in downtown Ripon. Book a room. You will not be disappointed!

There is no front desk but they are as virtual as possible they have a 24 hour phone number you can call if needed, everything was clean and they had a full kitchen if you wanted to make your mealsRooms: The rooms were amazing the bedroom is separate from the living area, they have a full kitchen with all the cookware you could need to comfortably cook your own meals

The Mapes Hotel did not disappoint! It was an incredibly clean unit that was decorated beautifully! We loved everything about it!! The check in process was hassle free and the hotel was amazing!!! We will definitely be back and will tell our friends and family about it. Truly one of the best places we have ever stayed!
