Had what I needed - great advice. I was shopping for flea shampoo to use on a couple kittens born in a garage but running around in the grass. I was first told they didnt have a product, but dog shampoo would suffice. Thank God for the consultant who straightened out me and the sales person. Hartz products are a no-no for cats and dogs. And you cannot use dog products on cats due to allergic reactions that often lead to death. I bought the right stuff. Check these two new kittens - Bonnie and Clyde - in the pics. The aquatics specialist with the dyed hair and piercings was so rude while I was looking at fish with my family she very rudely told us to stand in the aisle and I was going to buy saltwater fish and she was so incredibly rude I will never go back. Don’t shop here if you want to be able to look at the fish before buying them.

My dog is allergic to life. PetCo always seems to have things he is able to consume. I appreciate the knowledge of the staff with allergies and ingredients in their products. Going above and beyond to help each other out too. A lot of good teamwork noticed at this location.

Girl with the blue hair and all the face piercings was incredibly rude and unhelpful. Was scowling at the woman checking out in front of me having issues with her card too. Gave me lazy, incorrect directions to find what I was looking for which made it take longer (like… show me where it is), then got snotty about me asking for crickets which they should have. Left me flabbergasted. She needs to be trained on how to treat people before being allowed to work with them again. If that’s how she treats people, I’d be scared to trust her with the animals in that store too. Very rude. Won’t come back. Talk to that employee because she is not ok

The price for the shampoo I purchased was $3 more than the price on the website. The wait to check out was long considering there were only 2 people in line. I'll most likely go somewhere else.

Unfortunately, you guys are the closest pet store for crickets and other pet supplies. The last year we have been going in this store damn near every other day. We have never had any issue, in fact, Matt has always been AMAZING! Last night we stopped in to get crickets and this blonde
black glasses wearing (Jaime, I think. My receipt is at home, I am at work) cashier omg was she bad from beginning to end! We had gotten forty crickets, Her first comment was "40? This doesn't look like 40! He's ALWAYS giving more than requested (insert her eyeroll here). We were like, "yes we came for 40, we told him 40 and we watched him count numerous times." Not to mention this was all in place of Matt's usual, "hi guys, how are you doing today? Phone number?" This back and forth about the cricket count continued and Jesus did her attitude suck! She made us feel like we were doing something wrong. Skip ahead 5 minutes, she rings in the payment incorrectly and can't figure out how to fix it. She calls over the nice kid that got our crickets for us and asks him for help. At this point my fiance and I are looking dead at each other like "whoa" when she begins telling this kid what he is telling her to do is wrong, of course with attitude. I felt bad for the kid.. She does whatever she does and tells us a completely different price. Huh? My fiance told her what the correct price should be (again, we have been getting supplies for our 5 cats, bearded dragon, leopard gecko and guinea pig for quite sometime) and her response was "whatever" ? at this point, although extremely livid at this point, we pay, I grab the receipt and she says under her breath but clearly loud enough, "go somewhere else." OK Petco, great hiring job with this one, hope she's worth losing our business!

The staff are always nice, which is kind of remarkable since retail workers sometimes have to interact with awful people. Anyway, taking our guys here for some years for grooming and they do an amazing job. My 2 little dudes have a lot of anxiety and move around a lot, but they always do great with them both. Thanks yall!
