Niemann Ace Hardware is a friendly, community-focused store that offers personal service and quality products. Customers appreciate the helpful staff, like Paul at the Sauk Prairie store, who takes time to ask questions, respect ideas, and help make projects work. The store is known for knowledgeable employees who go the extra mile, such as those at the paint counter who even helped repair a wristwatch. Visitors also enjoy the floral shop inside, which is praised for its beautiful and affordable flower arrangements. While some experiences with store inventory can be frustrating, staff members are generally quick to resolve issues, such as locating misplaced items. Over the years, the store has changed but remains a good place to shop, with a warm atmosphere and helpful employees who know the community’s needs. Niemann Ace Hardware continues to be the "Helpful Place," dedicated to providing personal service, quality products, and a convenient shopping experience for neighbors in the area.
This Ace has been great to shop at recently. One of the workers Erik helped me last week buying a pellet smoker and was very knowledgeable and kind sharing product info and answering my questions before ultimately buying it. As always, they’re also there in a pinch when I don’t want to go to Baraboo or Menards.

The staff is consistently helpful and kind. The store carries an astoundingly wide variety of items and if they don’t have it, they’re happy to order it to the store for you.
