We are so satisfied with the care Dr. Hinze provided for our sweet love Dakota. She didn’t just treat Dakota, she treated her as part of our family and always made sure we knew our options and choices to do what was best for our girl. Thank you for being part of our family VCA. You didn’t just care about Dakota, you all also cared about Dakota’s family and that means so much to us.

The only place to take your pet! Awesome, friendly caring staff! My dog is super hyper, but a little peanut butter settles him down a bit.???

I’m a newer customer to the clinic and I have only good things to say. The staff and vet were great with my older cat and super supportive and empathetic when we had to put him down. I have since brought in my new cat and they treated her so well and within her comfort zone. The prices are probably a bit on the higher side, but they are very upfront with the cost of everything so there aren’t any surprises. They are informative of what they recommend, but not pushy if you say no. I love that they have Saturday hours as it works so much better with my work schedule. I now consider this my vet clinic and look forward to future visits.

My husband and I had a great 1st experience with this clinic. Everyone was friendly and took care of our older cat. Even though we couldn't go in the clinic because of COVID, the demeanor of the staff assured me he was safe and in good hands. Tests, shots, and procedures were all explained ahead of time and pricing was upfront and reasonable. We were informed and educated of different possible shots that could be given, but not pushed to get them if we chose not too. We will return.

They are very nice and helpful/understanding on my funds and situation. They offer different programs so it helps you be able to do what you can financially for your pet. They help in anyway they can! Spike loves going and seeing his friends. All love him there! Best experience I've had at any vet office!

Up front I'm going to say I have never taken a cat of mine to the vet. But everyone was very kind. My prince still has issues -1 star for saying he was "big like overweight"...He is just a big cat..bigboned

I am very disappointed in this clinic - it is now definitely corporate. We brought our new cats in for vaccines and a routine exam. They probably spent more than 50% of the time "selling" their VCA Program that is expensive. This program recommends almost $1000 in routine care per animal per year (and I don't think it included vaccines nor dental care). If you purchase their program, it will only cost you over $600 per year per animal. Their routine exam price has doubled in the last few years (even though there is still a note on this site that says $25 exam for first visit) - We paid $59.65 each cats first visit. Rabies vaccinations have tripled in price since our last animal. As these cats are older, I did agree to some baseline labs. These were also significantly more expensive than other vets. Although they were transparent in the cost of the labs, no one made mention of the cost of the visit nor the cost of the vaccines. What I was anticipating as a $400 visit for the 2 cats, turned out to be over $600. The visit felt more about money and finding ways to up-charge than actually the well-being of the animals. Don't get me wrong, everyone was very nice and they were kind to my cats.

I was disheartened to read some of the posted reviews here as we have been clients at VCA for many years. Our pets have been very well taken care of. They have been thorough and caring with our pets. I like that they realize how much my pet means to me and treat them as if they were the only pet they took care of that day. All of my questions were answered and treatments or meds explained. Dr Green and Dr Joe were amazing. I was not forced into any care or treatment my dog did not need. I was told when to return for follow up visits. I was given explanations of what to expect with my senior pet. I received a call the next day asking how my dog was doing and if I had any questions or concerns and to call at anytime if I did. We will continue to use VCA for our pets medical needs.

Our family has been going to Saukville's village VCA animal hospital for over 25 years. They've always been completely thorough and upfront with pricing to help all of our precious pets. We have had the best care for all of our yorkies, Including all of our labradors that we have owned throughout our many years; and all of thier puppies too. We feel confident in saukville village VCA in handling our most basic dogs care to thier specialists who fully provide. I'm eager to pick up our male Chocolate Yorkie Gianni Cash who came from Mississippi later today. Gianni Cash sadly has to go for gallbladder surgery next Wednesday. Our girls Pixie and Gidget will go for their healthcare shots in few weeks time.

The corporate takeover of the Saukville Vet Clinic by VCA, a subsidiary of Mars, Inc. (yes, the maker of candy bars) has evolved this facility from a compassionate animal clinic to a "hospital" that operates on the basis of overtesting and overpricing its clients. There are many superior veterinary hospitals/clinics located in the local area that can provide services for pets; clinics that are far more inclined towards the actual needs of pets, and vets that offer choices for patient care, while respecting the costs assumed by pet owners. VCA focuses more on business development and client funding of excessive remodeling, overstaffing of administration & hospital management, over-the-top database systems and excessive vacation time by the Clinic Director and his minions. VCA is alleging to be in the business of animal care but what this clinic seems to really care about is how to make more money to fund a lifestyle and modern work environment. I see the money clearly going to aesthetics opposed to equipment for patient care. Oh and don't expect this "hospital" to be there for your pet after hours... there is no emergency line... they can't be bothered to return calls in the morning (no voicemail). BEWARE: If you are conservative with your spending at this clinic and question the decisions made by staff they will refuse your request to speak with upper management and will drop you as a client. NOTE: MEIJER PHARMACY OFFERS MANY PRESCRIPTIONS FOR FREE THAT THIS CLINIC TRIES TO PAWN OFF TO CLIENTS AT PREMIUM PRICING. Check your local pharmacy before filling a script with VCA. Your local Pharmacy will have most pet meds including eye and ear drops, heart-worm medications, flea and tick monthly, etc.

wow Is this veterinarian man rude. mentioned the cutting off my cats head part 4 separate times when I already showed signs of being upset and said NO already. he kept talking about the cutting of their heads off part of rabies testing. what a creep and I won't be coming here again
