About Shawano County Humane Society

The Shawano County Humane Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing humane treatment and care to animals, returning lost pets, and placing pets in loving homes. The staff are amazing, very friendly, knowledgeable, and really care about the animals. The adoption process is absolutely wonderful and easy. The facility is very clean, including the animal cages and pens. There is a place to walk or play with animals very close by, including a dog path and nearby dog parks. It is an extremely good Humane Society to adopt from in Wisconsin and is also a good shelter to volunteer for.

    These people are amazing and they really care about their animals. If you are looking to adopt an animal this is probably the best place for you to do it in wisconsin.

    What an absolutely wonderful adoption process!! We saw our Paris (now DoobieDo) online. We went to meet her, and they made it so easy!!! We fell in love with Paris, and she's in her forever home!!
