Was due to be hired 3 months ago. Covid hit and 2 days before my start date I was told no one new was allowed in the building and that they would hold.the job. Months passed with correspondence between the.temp agency (i.q resources) and myself. I had taken a different stable job and was doing good. They called several more times promising a start date "soon". I put in a 2 week notice at my other job to start with windmill. I was given one week of " training" on their machine and received a call from the staffing agency as i got into the parking lot at work. Was tols not to return wirh no real details as to what I did wrong. I showed up on time every single day to work and put in my best effort and went out of my way to try to ask questions and get a better understanding of the job and what was expected of me. One of the coworkers I had I was working on this machine for over 25 years and trying to get him to speak to me or give me any direction was like pulling teeth. The other younger guy that was training me did the best that he could but he also didn't have a great grasp on what was going on in general. So with terrible training and a company that only gives somebody one week to try to master a machine that requires a lot of different components isn't fair to a loyal employee. As I said I was on time every day and never missed any days and worked to the best of my ability and was constantly asking questions and trying to pick up on any tidbits of information that they would give me. Which wasn't much. I didnt feel very welcome and the training was non existent. After sort of dragging me through the mud for 3 months promising that this job would be there and that I would be one of the operators on this machine I think that it was extremely unfair to only allow me one week to try to pick up on all of the different details and intricacies to the job.Even though it has nothing to do with windmill slatwall I still haven't been paid any money for any of the work that I have done and the temp agency sent my money to the wrong account. So I am awaiting a check in the mail. This entire situation was a complete Nightmare and I am just writing this review to try to put it out there for anyone else considering taking a position at this company. I don't feel that it's very stable and I don't feel that many people would do well at this place especially with a non-existent training program and coworkers that are not really willing to train.Personally I would recommend anyone stay far away from this place in terms of being offered a job. They will chew you up and spit you out in a matter of a week or two and you will be back to square one. Had I known that they were going to do this to me I would have kept the stable job that I had.Be very cautious because while on the surface they seem nice, they don't treat temps well. You'll. regret taking the job in any department. Tread with.extreme caution
