I am using Acuity to insure my handyman business and when I needed to file a claim last year it was a simple process! They mailed my check out within 1 week, and I always got someone on the phone immediately to help with the process.

Would like to know why your HR team is asking what race and ethnicity I am and then proceed with 3 basic questions to end the interview in matter of 7ish minutes. Just to be sent a rejection email a few days later. I waited to truly see if this was hiring discrimination and it truly is. My race and ethnicity should never be asked nor taken into consideration when I have amazing qualifications. So much for inclusion and diversity. Would enjoy sitting down with legal and compliance. Truly disappointed at a company that I looked forward being part of for years.

I switched to Acuity based on a friends recommendation. I was excited because I saved a lot of money but now that I’ve had Acuity for five years, I’ve also had great service. They’re online and app are very useful easy to use. They’re so easy to work with. I moved changed policies, they were able to give me a quote super fast and keep me insured. I highly recommend the folks at Acuity.

I had a claim from May of 2023 with Acuity. It took them several months to get a check to pay off my truck that was totaled. My business also had insurance for lost revenue due to being down a truck. After Acuity telling my broker "the check is in the mail" several times, I'm still waiting. It's been over 9 months now. They said the check should be there in 7-10 business days, that was December 8th. Definitely would not recommend Acuity for Commercial Auto insurance. You pay a fortune for coverage and get nothing in return.

I’ve never heard of Acuity before this experience. However, they were easier to work with than any other insurance company I’ve had or worked with. I called a couple companies recently to get quotes and it took a week. I dealt with Acuity over damage caused to my property by one of their insured motorists and the entire claim was processed and payment sent within a week.

HORRIBLE!!!! Worthless system will not let me post ZERO stars?No one can answer a SIMPLE question about their own written insurance policies. People kept whining about their problems doing their jobs. I keep getting transferred to yet another person who was a clueless as the previous person I talked to and whined even more. One woman stated proudly that "I do not know".Rude arrogant condescending argumentative.Pawned me off on the non-functional website, another pawned me off on the local agent, who whined about how hard it is to reset his password. He promised to call me back and has not.Customer service does not exist here. Customers seem like an annoying problem.But hey, at least they were located in America.
