Amy is amazing! She has been doing my hair: cut, color, perm, style, you name it, for about 40 years. Not only does she listen to what you want, she takes her time to make you look your best. Amy at one point was an instructor for Matrix, along with being a hair stylist.Service: Shampoo & conditioning

Always made to feel right at home. Must say always look better leaving than when I arrived. Two highly skilled stylists. Highly recommend

I had my first and only experience with Jomaji Salon today. The cut was fine and the stylist styled the hair poorly after the cut was finished. I asked for how I can prevent the look of that style for the future when getting home and the stylist told me to come back in a few days if I still didn't like it. When getting to the check out, I was charged nearly DOUBLE WHAT THE COST STATES ON THEIR WEBSITE. I was then told that it was a 'newer cut' and cost more and they charge separately for drying the hair. A salon that insists their clients leave soaked and unfinished or being forced to pay an extra $12. I asked both women at the front desk, one of whom was the manger, saying a) I didn't know about all of these extra charges, as I did look it up before making the appointment b) the stylist went ahead and finished my hair without making it clear that this was something separate and c) finished the job so poorly, I had to go home (15 miles away) to rewash and style the hair so I wouldn't look like I stepped out of 1951. The manager did nothing about it, knew I was disappointed and still insisted I pay the ridiculously high cost, without once apologizing or trying to mediate the situation. If you like paying way too much for mediocre skills, unfriendly, and intentionally misleading information for potential clients, Jomaji Salon is for you. Personally, I'm going to Salon 511 next time!
