Blue harbor resort was very big and clean. With lots of restaurants and activities. Plus they had a boutique shop with clothes, toys and games, jewelry’s, decor for homes, and hygiene product the hotel uses. The waterpark was fun for kids and adults. They had slides for younger kids (for example: 3 or younger). They had 4 different water slide, but they were long, fun, and a little bit fast. The arcade was a little bit small then you expect to be. But they had the popular games you would see in a normal arcade. Then mini golf was fun, a little bit complicated. I wouldn’t recommend mini golf for toddlers or 5 years old.The room were clean and organized, but different floors had different room sizes. People there are very polite. There restaurants were very good for normal eaters or picky eaters. They also have a bar and games for 21 and up.Over all this was a very great experience.

We had a lovely experience during our stay at the resort and would highly recommend a vacation to this destination. Please see the accompanying details for further information.I rated the service and rooms at a 4 star based on the following: most of the staff failed to even offer a smile upon greeting our party, in fact, they seemed a little unwelcoming. The two exceptions to this was our bartender and server in the bar on our first night at the resort. (I believe their names were Jennifer and Gracie). In reference to the rooms and the reason for the 4 stars is based on the overall decor and essence of our room. While neat clean and tidy with a balcony overlooking Lake Michigan; the desk, nightstands, and coffee table gave off a dated vibe.Overall I highly recommend Blue Harbor Resort for your next vacation.Rooms: The room we were in was rather long and narrow with 2 queen beds in an a sleeping area, a living area with sleeper sofa and coffee table. Rooms were clean and tidy with a luxurious feel.Nearby activities: A large water park, mini golf, restaurant, bar, coffee shops, walking paths. Close to downtown Sheboygan, the Sheboygan Harbor and Yacht Club.Walkability: There is so much offered on the hotel property itself including a water park, mini golf, restaurant, bar, ice cream shop, gift shop, outdoor pool, fire pits and gazebo’s. A trail to walk the beachfront passes through the property leading to the nearby beach and pier. Many shops and restaurants and lovely boardwalk along the Sheboygan River all within 1/2 mile.Food & drinks: Spent time at the hotel bar “On The Rocks”, which was an appropriate name as there is a sensational view of beautiful Lake Michigan, which, if you’re not familiar with seems more like an ocean than a lake. I found the tap beer offered would cover most tastes in that area. Our party was ready to eat and ordered from the bar menu, which is very limited selection. We ordered a sampler plate that offered cheese curds, French fries, fried pickles, & two different sausages. Also 2 Supreme Pizzas.

The good, the bad, and the ugly. The Good• Water park was nice, it was big enough the kids didn’t get bored and small enough that we felt comfortable keeping an eye out on our kids from a distance when not in the pool• The water park lifeguards actually seemed to be active throughout the day and was pretty impressed with their attentiveness• We went during spring break and on the whole the water park was busy but did not feel over crowded• Parker John’s BBQ & Pizza, this is not even affiliated with Blue Harbor and is just across the water. Good food! The Bad• Food options seemed limited and 20% gratuity was automatically added to the pool concession area on top of already inflated prices• The price for what you received when staying on site was just not there. We stayed in a kids boathouse room, the room was large but no hooks to dry any clothes or towels (I mean people are there for the water park) and the clothesline in our bathroom didn’t work.• The beds were rock hard and very uncomfortable. The “queen” bed was so hard it was extremely difficult to sleep on. The kids beds were more like plastic pads (which I kind of get, because you know, kids and water park) but they were very hard too.• Minigolf is $10/person and they just send you upstairs to have at it. No one monitoring it and so there are kids everywhere just running amok. The courses are not even that great. Do not waste your money on this. The Ugly• When we checked in our room smelled of puke. It seemed to stem from the stain on the couch which apparently didn’t get cleaned before we checked in. We went to the front desk to ask them to clean the couch and/or replace cushions and/or the entire couch. We went to dinner and came back to find they were only just getting around to cleaning it. And all they did was spray the couch, no machine to clean it, just a cleaner and some febereez. Needless to say the couch was unusable for the duration of our stay. The next day the room still smelled like puke and I asked to be moved, however it was spring break, so they said no other rooms were available. At this point I was looking to get some kind of compensation for this. All that was originally offered was $100 off our stay, at the very least I expected one of our nights to be comped which they said they could not do. After some back and forth they were able to provide just a little bit more than this. I was over tired from a nearly sleepless night and irritable that I had to negotiate for even this and didn’t want to spend our vacation arguing with the front desk.I was tired of spending money here and dealing with our puke smelling room so we ended up checking out a day early. We will not be back and I will definitely not be recommending Blue Harbor to anyone.

Great place to stay for local or out of town visitors. Breakers Bay is perfect for all ages. There's an Arcade, Galactic mini golf, close to many other attractions.

This is our second time coming here and the boys absolutely had a great time. Great place for families to come and play and relax. Many food options for everyone. Will be back to enjoy in the summer.

PALATIAL LAKE RESORTThis was my second stay and it was as good this time, albeit busier as it was the Labor Day Weekend.Bringing to mind that other epic edifice, the Hotel del Coronado in San Diego, the sheer scale of this place is amazing. My massive king suite was lake facing and had a balcony on which to enjoy the view and overlook the s’mores being made on the fire pit on the lawn each night. It was a very jolly and happy long weekend, with kids running everywhere and the restaurants and bars full the bursting with people having a great time. While I highly recommend you stay here, you can still enjoy this resort as a day tripper. With a spa, restaurants, boutiques, its own water park, fun zone and mini golf you’ll be spoilt for choice. The resort is bound by water: Lake Michigan at the back, with a beach for swimming and surfing; and the Sheboygan River in front, perfect for walks along the waterway and dining in the marina’s restaurants.

Overall our team had a great experience at Blue Harbor Resort and Conference Center. The staff was very genuine and was attentive to needs and details. The resort itself holds a sense of character from it's architecture to it's employees. Our rooms were clean and well kept, along with great food a beverages in the banquet hall. Thank you to all at Blue Harbor that made our trip great, we are looking forward to our stays in the future!

Nice rooms, but the restaurants and staff (specifically the crabby mean old lady who runs the coffee/ice cream shop) need major improvement...

I went there to inquire about hosting a birthday party at the Waterpark. The gentleman working the front informed me that they don't host birthday parties. The reasoning was very vague. For such a grand place with a nice size indoor Waterpark, you would think they would want to host events like that especially in our community. He did inform me that they are allowing the public to come swim at the Waterpark for a $40 per person day pass on Sundays only, starting in April. Maybe I would consider getting a room for the night to see if it's worth it.

Good hotel experience. Fun pool for little kids. Nice weekend getaway.Food & drinks: The breakfast buffet was not very good. It was basically a bad version of a continental breakfast. None of the food stood out as being well made. Service was good but food was not worth the cost.
