I can almost always get what I'm looking for here. Sushi isn't bad. Pies are great, the cookies are ok.

I wasn't even going to bother writing this review but after stopping at Pick 'n Save in Plymouth today I had too. The customer service in Plymouth was amazing!!! If customer service like that was common online shopping would cease to exist. Customer service is a huge part of the shopping experience. Anyway I was in Sheboygan Pick 'n Save last week on March 14th. I wanted to get some catfish fillets. I asked the man at the counter if he could cut the fillets in half for me. I explained to him that I had just had surgery on my hand and wasn't able to cut them myself. I even showed him my hand. He replied back by saying he didn't think so but he would go ask. He comes backs and tell me no he can't do it. Now here is my issue I've seen them cut meat for customers before while I was waiting to be served. Secondly I asked for an accomodations based on a temporary handicap. Not as a customer who thinks it should be done just because I asked. I was the only person there so it wasn't like they were busy. Plus there were two other workers in the department so staff wasn't an issue. So I decided to go up to customer service and complain. As I approached the customer service desk I saw one of the rudest cashier ever. This older lady name Joan or JoAnn short hair with glasses. I stopped dead in my tracks!! What would be the purpose of complaining to somebody who I should have complained about previously many times. How do you chose which handicap to accommodate. People who need help walking you provide a scooter for them. What accomodations do you provide for other various handicaps? I didn't consider my request outlandish, just once I asked for a little customer service REQUEST DENIED ?

Very nice grocery store. My only negative comment would be that Pick n Save (whose parent company is Kroger) refuses to join the Fair Food Program, which, right now, is the only way to guarantee that farmworkers who harvest our food are treated decent. Pick n Save/Kroger has been found to have have purchased food from farms in the US with slavery rings.

Lady at the customer service counter refused to check me out. Made me go to self checkouts with a 10mi plus wait time

Prices at this store can be amazing. But I’ve had more than one experience with really a poor attitude from an older woman who works here. It’s obvious that she brings moral down by how you see her interact with her coworkers. One bad apple can really spoil the bunch.I also bought this meat two days ago, and it says sell by tomorrow.. But the meat is disgusting and very brown. Kind of makes me wonder if they are pouring blood on the meat to make it look fresh? Or extending things past their sell by dates… yuck. Usually love the store and the self check out updates.. but the moral here is sad and I avoid using the checkouts with employees running it at all costs, in case of having to interact with this woman as a cashier or bagger. Hopefully they do something about it. No one should be walking on egg shells around someone’s else’s inability to control their stress levels or emotional well being. I wish them luck. And to end on a positive note, Some of the workers are lovely, and I noticed she tends not to be working those days. Review written 08/25

Gross store! Very dirty. Do not recommend. Manitowoc is way better.

They usually have some of the best produce in town and have a really good bakery and deli. The deli boneless garlic parm wings are extremely good for a grocery store. The Kroger store brand items are usually on par with the name brands as well. Pricing on some items may be a little high, however between sales and apps like Ibota it usually isn't an issue.

Just no. Plays games with prices that are borderline predatory.

Produce/Deli is wonderful! I placed a large order of fruit salad for a party and it was perfect! They chose the best fruit and it was packaged perfectly!

Love you products….your employees are wonderful….but your checkout truly is terrible…people at every self checkout to help you and one register open….a second gets open when the line gets long enough and the grumbling louder….I won’t use self check…even if someone’s helping me…..have been shopping here less and less because of this !

All of the raw chicken I bought from this Pick n save tasted like fish. I suspect improper handling.

This store used to be my favorite grocery store. Then they got self-checkout. I literally had just stopped there today to get a dozen hard rolls.
The line for all checkouts including the self checkout was so immense that after almost 30 minutes of just standing in line I left.
Your employees are directing folks with full carts into self checkout. this causes an extreme bottleneck and lines that are so long that customers who are still shopping now have to somehow get through this line of people just to finish their shopping.
I talked to the workers, this is coming from the management in the store, apparently they are incompetent fools. if you are management reading this you should feel embarrassed and ashamed at how your store is running when I know high schoolers that could do a better job than you.
Now, this isn't the first time, I've brought this up to management in the past, I've had friends bring this up and I've seen other customers bring this up. This store refuses to do anything about it.
listen, since you guys are absolute idiots I'm going to break this down for you
You need to have a limit of the number of items that you can check out in self checkout. the larger full carts need to go to regular checkout.
This is not a very hard concept. I don't want to hear how you have a lack of workers when I saw at least six associates stocking. obviously you need to have stocking done too but don't give me that crap that you don't have enough workers, both my high school kids applied by you and they never heard back.
So, if you're hurting for employees that's on you because people are applying... you are just not hiring. Don't use the pandemic as an excuse, don't use lack of workers as an excuse, this is purely and very quite clearly a management issue.
whoever's the head manager of that store should be given the option of resigning or being on us, we need to not do it. if nobody does it they won't have it.
You simply don't want to pay to have cashiers, that's the bottom line. It has absolutely nothing to do with not having enough employees but everything to do with you not wanting to pay them.
