I had won a $10000 solar package from Danbury casino in conjunction with NES.
That was March 25th( Last Saturday of the month)2023. I have yet to get anything from this company and Foley Quinn claimed he would refund me, but have since gotten no response or answered calls. Can't leave him a message as his voice mail is full. Not to be trusted!

I have had a good experience with NES. A little over two years ago we had NES install 36 panels on our house and garage roof. To our delight, these panels produce a generous amount of electricity. As most people know, the initial investment is steep, but the commitment does eventually pay for itself (in our case 10-15 years). The State and Federal subsidizes together amount to about a one third reduction in our cost of purchase. Perhaps most importantly comes theknowledge that the system produces energy from the sun----a renewable and plentiful resource.
Our experience with NES CEO Foley has been excellent. When there are glitches--and with any project worth doing, glitches arise---Foley has
been immediately responsive and helpful. He follows through true to his word. Foley is honest and trustworthy, as is his helpful Office Manager Stacia. For example a storm knocked out our inverter in mid July 2023. Foley and his team replaced the inverter at no charge, (inverters are covered under a 10 year warranty)
The technicians employed by Foley are also honest, helpful, knowledgeable, efficient, hard working and friendly. They own degrees from certified institutions and are well trained and qualified. These guys did things right for us and answered all questions we have.
The future looks bright for our system as we someday may add some form of a storage system to this so that we have power at night as well as power during a grid outage.
As I stated earlier, purchasing a system like this is not inexpensive, but if one thinks of it as an investment in the future, as well as an endeavor into a measure of energy independence, it is well worth it. For example I delight in telling people that: "I own my own business, yes, and that business is my own power plant. Yes I own a power plant!" Pretty cool?
I recommend NES to anyone who is considering investing in a Solar unit for their home or business.

Our experience with NES was great from beginning to end! They helped us navigate the entire process, did a professional job with the installation, and have done a good job with follow-up also. I wanted to wait a bit to give a review to make sure everything works as planned. After five months now I can say It does. In fact, this month we are tracking to export nearly twice as much power as we will import. And because we went with a battery backup system, when we lose power the only way we know is an alert I get on my phone that says, “you have lost connection to the grid.” The lights don’t even blink! Glad we went with the plan we did… works great, saves money, and feels good to go green. Thanks everyone at Next Energy Solutions!

I had 13 pannels and an inverter installed. The whole process took about 6 months. Through just about all of it, communication has been awful. I would go months without hearing anything from them even when I reached out.The only exception being the contracted installer and actual electrician. They were excellent and kept me informed the whole way through the install. The system installed looks nice and clean on my house. It really looks quite appealing. When I signed the quote and put down my deposit, they made it sound like I could get my system installed before the end year. A 2 month time frame, not to unreasonable. This shifted my tax break, affecting my loans for the system. Now, after the installation, I have to guess that the system is working just fine as they have failed to get me the information for setting up the monitoring app. After 2 phone calls and a week and a half, this hasn't been resolved.I do t know that I would bother going with them again if I decide to add further equipment in the future.

Had NES design and install a solar setup with battery back up instead of going with a generator style system for home back up. I had my doubts on if it was the right choice, but now couldn't be more pleased with the system. We got everything up and going before the big snow storms in Dec 22 and lost grid power 14 times... never knew we lost power unless we looked at the app. I do not think putting solar in without batteries is getting you the full scope of what the system can do for you. Thanks again NES

We bought our solar system from Next Energy out of Shell Lake WI and I would never do business with them again. When they came out to look at our property for the installation, the seen that we had a pole building and so the owner suggested that we have the solar panels installed on the roof of the pole building. We never gave it a thought that we would not be able to clean the snow off of the panels in the winter when they were on the roof of the pole building. We had plenty of room to have them installed on a ground mount but were never advised to do so. So, we're spending close to $300.00 a month now for electricity because the solar panels are covered with snow most of the winter. We have contacted Next Energy on several occasions and the owner said he would come out to move the solar panels to a ground mount. That never happened. Once they've got your money, they don't know you anymore. If you're looking for solar, get it from anyone except Next Energy. They talk a great talk but they don't deliver. After spending all of that money on solar, you should expect more.

I've had an off grid system put in by these guys for going on four years now... They've always been there to help me when I needed it and come through for me whenever I had any questions. Nice people working for the company and very professional.

Just had a system installed a couple of months ago. A couple of hiccups on the way but nothing serious. The system is supposed to supply 6 kW a year which is half of my annual usage. Well see what it does, but I have high hopes. They were supposed to come out and explain the system to me before I left for the winter but were too busy with other installs. The people that did the work were very efficient and knowledgeable.

Honesty counts for a lot! I suspected I had a marginal setting for solar panels. Chris could have tried to make a sale with false claims, but he didn't. So, it didn't happen. Gotta respect an honest sales person.

very inappropriate sales tactics of price versus value assuming with 5%i inflation rate you might save 5000 in 20 years not to mention you need to replace your roof again
