Rude on phone, on hold with horrible music, won’t answer a simple yes-no question. As a long time sherwin Williams customer, I’d rate this store a zero for customer service. Shorewood, WI store not good.

BUYER BEWARE. Long story short: they won’t help, clearly don’t care or work with you to fix an issue they caused. After the sales associate didn’t clarify my sheen after I voiced numerous times I wanted something flatter, and I got home with my paints to find out they had a higher level gloss that wouldn’t work for my efforts. I tried to return and they shared that their manager has a “well they asked for something and we gave it to them then it’s on them” policy. Their gloss levels don’t equate to other brands well. I’m stuck with a few gallons of paint now that doesn’t fit my project. I think the cherry on top was that during our process and multiple visits to choose colors, the sales associates and pretty sure the manager were behind the desk on their phones rather than offering any kind of help. This could have been avoided with just a couple more questions during the checkout process or if they offered help when we were looking at colors.

The team at the Shorewood Sherwin Williams stores was knowledgeable and helpful and answered all of my questions. I'm confident that the type of paint I purchased is the right selection for quality as well as color for the projects I'm working on.However, I learned that there's no ceiling paint for at least 5 months now. SW really MUST have an alternative product that's cost competitive for customers, or we simply go to Menards or Home Depot - where paint is cheaper, to buy ceiling paint, as well as other paint and supplies.

It was a pleasant and ease-filled experience. I had an old can of oil-based paint that I wanted matched for all the trim in my home. BUT I wanted a water-based paint that would work for touchups. This is even better than touch ups with the original oil! You cannot even tell that I touched up spots. The color match and finish is perfect. It made my project so easy!

So.... Ok..... I have been to this store in Shorewood and it's twin on the 4300 block of Oakland. I enjoy this store much more than the other..... I don't know what it is..... it is just that I like the staff better here.? I have pondered this dilemma for a time.....they both have almost exactly the same products ....the set up inside appears to be similar. I'd like to be able to blame it on the staff, but I can not. Both stores are staffed with knowledgeable competent individuals. Upon reviewing other posts it seems that others agree with me. I can't figure it out I am sorry, I guess that I just like this store more!? It is a conundrum! It makes me question all my other posts AGH.!!! 👌
