The pharmacy department sucks. They might be constantly shortstaffed. Drive through takes forever. Even though, I ordered beforehand, my prescription was not ready after a few hours. Avoid if possible.

If I could leave a 0, I would. This Walgreens location puts the entire franchise to shame. Every single time I have had to call or come into this location, it has been an absolute train wreck, which makes me dread having to do my simple tasks of going to Walgreens for photos or medicine. It is absolutely ridiculous and shameful that nothing has been done to correct their behavior. I have called time and time again to know when I can come in to pick my items up, and they will pick up the phone only to hang it up right away; I have called with different phones and on different days. No one there seems to know how to do their job, and it's embarrassing for the Walgreens franchise.

Wait times at the pharmacy are unacceptable. As I write this I've been sitting in the drive thru window for almost an hour. I've seen one tech walk past the window in that time and they purposefully avoided looking towards the window.I decided to try the drive thru today because usually the lines inside are out the door. Having worked at Walgreens before I know they are supposed to have someone dedicated to the window as well as the counters inside.As mentioned before this is not the 1st instance of long wait times but this is the last straw for me. Please avoid this place.

Arrived at 11:45 for a 12:00 covid booster. Questionaire completed in advance on line. It took until 12:42 before getting the shot. No apologies from the staff. Go elsewhere.

Used to be a good store but now I avoid this location at all costs. Bad experiences with pharmacy, items constantly out of stock, bad attitude from employees. Last time stopping in I tried to buy a book of stamps and was told they were completely sold out by an employee who made no effort to check other than her cash drawer. Don’t waste your time

It’s unfathomable that a Walgreens can possibly be this bad. Every visit is a nightmare. On my way in i wonder how this place always finds new ways to be awful, and they deliver without fail every single time.Typically big retail chains only have so much room for variation. This place proves the exception. It has lowered the bar for literally any type of experience of any kind.

Called to see if they had my script in stock, they said yes. Called back the next day and they tell me they aren’t allowed to share that information over the phone. This place is AWEFUL.TO THE PHARMACIST: THIS IS A STUPID POLICY. IT’S BAD ENOUGH TO NOT GET A GOOD UPDATE ON THE STATUS OF A PRESCRIPTION. NOW I NEED TO GO BACK AND FORTH WITH MY DOCTOR BECAUSE YOU CAN’T TELL ME IF YOU HAVE MY MEDICATION IN STOCK. GET IT TOGETHER AND BE BETTER

Actually the slowest Walgreens pharmacy in the area; even worse than the one on Oakland or even Brady st. Moving my prescriptions, I don’t have time to stand in line for over 45 minutes every month.

I went to get a covid booster based on my doctors recommendation due to health conditions - after checking me in and making me wait almost 25m, the pharmacist called me over and told me he wouldn’t give me a booster and wouldn’t listen to anything I had to say about my health conditions. He asked me ONE question and then said he would not give me the vaccine… even though my DOCTOR said I should get one. He completely blew me off and made me feel uncomfortable even getting my flu shot here. When I said to cancel the appointment he rolled his eyes.He didn’t even give me the time to tell him my health conditions - and this was all in full listening range of almost a dozen people, some of which I know and work with and don’t want knowing about my health problems. It was so unprofessional. The least you could do is take someone into a private room before asking for confidential information. Absolutely shameful.For the record, this isn’t the first issue I’ve had here. In the past, they’ve delayed filling prescriptions - and one time they told me I didn’t have a prescription there… because over 24h after my doctor called it in they hadn’t checked their voicemail (or whatever it is). My doctor had to call it in MULTIPLE TIMES and I had to call them almost six times to get my prescription.

I’m done with this pharmacy. I’ve had my prescription delayed multiple times to the point that I’ve run out, I’ve been hung up on while on hold with the pharmacist, I get multiple calls a week from the automated system reminding me to fill a prescription that doesn’t need refilling, and apparently they’re not open on Saturdays anymore which means I’m gonna have to go a full day without my prescription again. It just gets worse and worse every week.

I walked In on a Sunday morning. I was the only customer In the store, two employees were at the counters and never acknowledged me saying, "goodmorning" or "can I direct you to somewhere In the store."?When I proceeded to check out a staff person at the counter was watching something on her phone, the volume was up as well. I kindly said, "I'm ready to check out." In a very nice tone, she seemed so perturbed with me like I was Inconveniencing her, still all the while talking to her co worker, Ignoring me, very little eye contact.Just rude and Ignorant while she proceeds to check me out. Why on earth Is she working In the customer service field? Unbelievable to say the least.Management please hire some qualified, competent staff with some class.

This Walgreens in Shorewood is horrible. Many of the pharmacy staff are rude, they are more often than not out of stock or low on stock, I can’t rely on a prescription being filled even 24 hours after the doctor called it in; all which requires multiple trips back to the pharmacy.
