Sinsinawa is a treasure. I hope it is saved and continues to enrich. The history and architecture and grounds are incredible. We need such destinations more than ever.

I went when in high school years ago. The people were very friendly and peaceful. They had delicious fresh farm food. The sticky buns are DELICIOUS!

Massive round chapel, well off the beaten path. I wasn't quite sure what I was seeing at first. Very well maintained and impressively large buildings are on the property. My only complaint, I wasn't sure if the public was welcome, so we didn't go in. I want to go back to try the bread/s and tour the available buildings!

If you are going to the gift shop, they have great breads there. But the Gift shop does close at 4pm. Wonderful staff and a great environment. Well worth leaving the highway on the way to Dubuque.

Our daughter was recently married at the mound. This place is very special to our family as one of our Aunts is a Dominican Sister here. They were welcoming and kind and the ceremony was so unique in that everyone faced the center isle. The sisters gave the new couple a beautiful blessing as we returned to the mound the next day to attend Mass. An amazing memory!

My husband and I were blessed to get married here this spring. Not only is the Queen of the Rosary chapel breathtaking, but the love and support we received from Sr Marcia, Mary Kay Kane, and all the sisters and staff was amazing. We could not have chosen a better place to celebrate!

We attended the Women of the Bible drama. The lunch was delicious. They had LOTS of baked items for sale - yum! The museum was very well done and well kept. We truly enjoyed the whole atmosphere!

I loved the round chapel and they also make great bread which is for sale in the gift shop. I want to make a return trip to learn more about the facility.
