“Dr. Sue & her Staff have been wonderful to my family, both our pets, and the people among us for close to 25 years. I've been having a very tough time with the loss of my last dog, who is gone far too soon, but she made it as comforting as one of the most terrible days I've ever had in my life could be. Just a horrible circumstance. Dr. Sue went so far beyond with her time and comfort of my young boy in his last hours that I won't forget it. She doesn't know this, but 30 minutes after I left we were greeted with a distinct rainbow road to the east, directly over the clinic in Slinger, and I was with family to witness it. I don't feel any better about this loss, but he told me he was okay.

I've been to other veterinarians in the past, and the difference here is the genuine care and compassion for your pets. She's running a business that deserves to earn a profit, but you don't feel like a transaction. Your pet is treated like a living part of your family in their care. She wants them to thrive, and that's important. She is leaving a legacy of being a fine example to the profession for other veterinarians, and techs alike.”

“Heart & Soul gives their heart and soul to the care of their patients. The reception and tech staff are exceptionally trained to handle most anything. My dog received lazer treatments for months and the techs made sure Sadie was greeted and made comfortable. These treatments were the successful in treating her arthritis and now she is a bouncy running girl. Because my Max required anal drainage monthly, we are there on a regular basis. Treatments are always on time, thoroughly explained and pleasant. Thanks to them, my dogs are willing to go to the vet. We are very grateful for this wonderful clinic.”

“We’ve been regular clients of Hartford Animal Clinic for the last year. My family has been impressed with their compassion and professionalism- not just from the veterinarians, but also all of the staff. Everyone here is very gentle and patient with our dogs and cats. We regularly see Dr. Larson and she is a fantastic vet who explains things in detail. (After each visit I walk away marveling at how she can retain all that she does in her head. She’s like an encyclopedia!). We’ve also had wonderful experiences with Dr. Schneider who really helped one of our dogs and a cat feel at ease. Highly recommend this clinic.”

“I can't say enough about Parkdale and its staff right now. Yesterday we made the excruciating decision to have our much-loved cat put to sleep after a brief but earnest fight against her cancer. From the appointments leading up to her diagnosis to the dreaded one when we brought her in for the final time, the staff was both compassionate and professional and made us feel like we were not going through our pain alone. For the actual euthanasia appointment, I was surprised and grateful to be escorted to a comfortable, private room well to the side of the lobby rather than an exam room. I'd been prepared to have to try to comfort our pet in her last moments on an exam table and then sob my way back through the lobby afterwards. Our longtime vet, Dr. Lisa Chapman, was not in, but the vet on call that day (I wish I could remember her name, but she's amazing) was just as caring and so helpful in talking us through how the procedure would be done and making sure that we were comfortable with each step along the way, as well as showing genuine concern for the comfort of our cat through the procedure. Everything was done at our own pace, allowing us to be fully ready to finally say goodbye.
From the moment we walked in the door to the time we left, the staff was so kind but also professional, and it made one of the worst days of our lives just a little easier. I can't thank them enough.”

“I have been bringing my dogs to Dr. Beachem since shortly after he opened (almost 20 years for me). Dr. Beachem is always very knowledgeable about and patient with my dogs. He was even knowledgeable about one of the dogs I adopted that had Addison's disease - not all vets have much, if any knowledge about this disease, and with me being new to it, he was patient and very helpful so we could provide her with the best care to manage the disease. Dr. Beachem is more on the quiet and reserved side, which may be seen as a negative with some people, but rest assured, he does care about the animals he is treating, and he is very patient when listening to concerns and willing to answer all questions. Pricing is also very competitive, if not better than many clinics in the area. I highly recommend Richfield Area Pet Clinic for your dog and/or cat's healthcare needs.”
