“I find the reviews stating that the employees are unfriendly to be quite unfounded. I’ve found them to be very friendly and helpful. I am here almost every week and I can say everything I’ve bought from them has been top notch. Their steaks are incredible, if you can afford them. Otherwise their stuffed pork chops are great, their chicken is Amish and cooks moist and tender. Their Scottish salmon is phenomenal. Their Friday fish fry is great, thin breading, good fish, convenient call ahead and pick up. Their bread is made in house. They only use Boars Head sliced meat and it’s worth the price. I could go on…”

“UPDATE 1/19: Owner/Manager responded and took care of the problem. Called 12/19 for a prime rib order pickup on 12/22. Illness caused plans to change, so I called morning of 12/22 to cancel and I asked about deposit refund/policy. I was told then that "they had a system for this" and they would keep my name in the back office so I could use that $25 for a future order. At this moment, had I been told differently, I may have kept the order and frozen it or grabbed something else. My brother was even considering grabbing it, but since I had the $25 to use later, I figured we could just keep that there for NY/St. Pats, etc. I then called back 1/5 and 1/6 and was told the policy is actually "no refunds, no credits on Christmas orders". The woman I spoke to was polite and apologetic but I was told two different things and the end result is I'm out $25 where I don't think I should be. I should either have that back or a frozen rib in my freezer. Wish I could comment on the meat/service.”

“I have really enjoyed dining here on a Saturday night. Best to make a reservation as it was completely full. All dishes are so well balanced and thought through. Bread selection with flavored butters was fantastic. The octopus was delicious and the rueben beef tongue sandwich with fat beef fries melted in my mouth. Cocktails are innovative and delicious. Will definitely be coming back.”

“This place is just awesome. Everything I have tried from there has been great. We live in MN, and we come to town. We always fill a cooler and bring it back north with us. Even the chicken burgers are juicy and flavorful. The use of chicken thighs removes that chicken flavor that reminds you that you are eating a chicken burger. This place is a hidden gem, and the owner is super easy to work with and always a pleasure to speak with.”
