Doerre Hardware Inc., also known as Ray's Do It Best, is a trusted hardware store serving Spring Green and Sauk County since 1865. It is a great small town hardware store with a country feeling, creaking wood floors, and a fun window display. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful, offering sound advice and expertise in locating merchandise. Services include key cutting, paint mixing, tool and screen repair, and UPS shipping. While prices can be a little higher than large chains, it is considered the best hardware store in town. Customers can find a nice variety of products and really good deals for all their hardware needs.
I can’t tell you how many times Ray has came through with advice or a hand. Carries a well balanced inventory. Spring Green sure is lucky to have a store like this.
