About Camp Namekagon
Camp Namekagon is a great, well-run campground in a beautiful area. It is quiet, family-friendly, and pet-friendly, with clean and very well-kept grounds. The campground layout is nice, offering very spacious sites, including cabins for rent, group campsites, and seasonal sites. It provides full hookups suitable for larger rigs, with solid and fairly level ground. Parking is available for boat trailers and other toy trailers. The location offers quick access to the scenic Namekagon River, which is a blast for kayaking, canoeing, and tubing, featuring level 1 rapids and exciting twists and turns. The campground operates a rental business for these activities, providing efficient and prompt transportation services. On-site, a big red barn houses a bar and restaurant known for its wonderful Friday night fish fry, which is tasty, and serves as a great place to eat and hang out. A small gift shop is also next door. The owners are great, very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The facilities are excellent, including a clean shower house and bathroom. While it is on the higher end of the price scale and has no playground, it remains a good place to go, with a respectful atmosphere and nearby towns to explore.

Great campground! I have stayed here many times. Quiet, family friendly, pet friendly and clean and very well up kept. Owners are great!!!

Nice place. Owners are great. On the higher end of the price scale. But a good place to go.Playground: Kids will need to find their own things to do. No playground.Restrooms: Shower house and bathroom in same room. Nice.Dog-friendliness: They do allow dogs.
