If I could give this organization a lower score than 1 star I would. I have had many problems with this bank. The last straw was the poor training of its personnel. My mother had passed away and I went in the close the IRA. An affidavit was all that was required, but the banker I spoke with at the time was totally misinformed on the procedure. I was forced to go to my attorney to clarify the mater and in so doing was charged $75. Turns out the branch office I went to had the affidavit forms and there should have been no reason for me to get my attorney involved. When a bank customer incurs a charge because of the personal bank does not know her job is very POOR customer service. BMO has the worst customer service. Their knowledge on banking is horrible. Whenever asked to recommend a banking institution I do not recommend BMO. They just don't have good customer service. Reading some of the other reviews I have to agree, they straight up lie to you.

Immediately greeted upon entering with a smile and a welcome! I was impressed with the level of service from the teller line. After asking about some things on my account, they promptly got me to a banker. Even offered me coffee. The banker was professional and extremely helpful. I'd recommend this location to anyone looking for a friendly and knowledgable branch.

Long story short. Got my tax return and deposited it in what I thought was my checking account. Accidentally press over draft protection, $1000 of it went in and now they wount return the money to my account. Now I am late on all my bills and everyone knows how much that fun adds up to. Go bank somewhere else. Please.
