They didn’t have my pain meds in stock and never notified me. This was a terrible thing to find out after spending the morning in surgery and then coming to get my much needed prescription.
They created a really stressful and painful situation. It was a real scramble to get my prescription switched to Walgreens before they closed. I almost had to go the whole night without proper pain relief. I’ve chosen to support this local business for several years, but I will now be going to Walgreens since Hometown has lost my trust.

Switched here after months of mistakes and headaches from Walgreens, and the difference is literally night and day. Staff here are always friendly, competent, and helpful and I will never go back to the large chains if I can avoid it.

Always been so much better than Walgreens, once I switched I wished I'd have done it sooner. Minimal wait time and very helpful employees. They've never disappointed.

A nice laid back relaxed atmosphere compared to the typical big box/ chain pharmacy. My prescriptions are always filled very fast and the staff is very knowledgeable and accommodating. Highly recommend.

Twice in a row I have shown up about 7 hours after the Dr. sent my son's prescription. (Common antibiotics for children) Both times I was told if I wanted it filled they would need to have the medicine ordered And I should come back the next day. Both times they faxed the prescription to Metro Mart and i waited 15 to 20 minutes to get it filled there. When I asked why they don't call when they are out of stock they let me know the number of calls wouldn't be manageable for them. Just fill at Metro Mart or Walgreens if you want reliable filling and decent service. Stinks to not be able to support a local pharmacy.

Hands down the best pharmacy I’ve ever used! They are so so friendly here and the wait time is never outrageous. I switched here from a nearby large chain pharmacy and the difference is night and day. There have been times they didn’t have what I need in stock but they’ve been great about transferring the script to where it’s available.

Hometown Pharmacy is truly wonderful. The staff are knowledgeable, timely, and professional. The delays, disorganization, and lack of competence I experienced with larger pharmacies became inexcusable at a certain point. Hometown Pharmacy was THE solution! I couldn't be happier with the service Hometown has provided me and my family!

New to them but very impressed so far. The biggest plus is not having to wait in long lines or deal with cramped quarters and harried understaffed situations like the "majors" elsewhere in town. They are friendly, personable, and professional. Google the location, they're hidden in plain sight.
